Re: All Mountain trail Bike build and advice.

I still don't really get the point in 29 inch wheels not impressed at all, yes tiny bit less rolling resistance 10 percent less supposedly, don't believe that honestly think bit clumsy, and make the bike just to big, OK if your 7ft but not as manoeuvrable and subject to more giroscopic influence so ...

do you need it to install a battery or just trying to fix it I like the aluminium ones as I think bit softer making them easier to install on thin alloy tube wall , the installation rivet guns where you squeeze the handle only bout 15 quid could try re tighten the rivnut with one it if lucky, but is...

could subtract 559 from 573 which equals 14 divide that by 2 for each side of the rim this gives 7 measure this in from outer of rim should land on the bead seat confirming 559

Re: help for full suspension mountain e-trike

does look like might lift one of the front wheels if you cornered hard but I think the design is more to stop bike falling over when stopped or low speed , do you mean toot angle ,which stands for toe out on turns , basically makes the wheel on the inside of the turn steer a bit more than the outer ...

Re: 19.6 miles per day - range of 52volt 19.2 ah battery with 1000 watt motor?

I agree with 999zips and donns more conservative figure so between 25 to 30 miles range , but tyre choice is a factor, also weather is a big a range killer, my off road tyres on road cost me at least 5 miles range of the charge :es:

Re: Desire Expert regarding rims/tire sizes - explanation

thanks for putting that straight in my eagerness to solve problem totally over looked that tyre and rim size not the important number its the bead seat diameter that is important , even though you said in post before :pancake: so should be pretty easy to find a 559 tyre then

Re: Desire Expert regarding rims/tire sizes - explanation

573 mm is 22.5 inches and 524mm is 20.5 inches , have you figured out its a motorbike rim yet  only tyre that comes close is a 21 inch motor bike tyre ,plus if you measured correct that gives rim profile depth of 24mm which is quite deep I think , for sure is not a 26inch rim though  ...
