Re: CA3, HiGo, Key Return ? Where does the key switch connect to?
oh there was some experimenting .. Got it figured out, so to recap .. i have a 36v pack without any switches... Baserunner controller in the battery box wired directly to the pac + and - . From the BaseRunner, the CA wire is the new standard WP plug, the CA itself has the old style JST so ther...

Re: CA3, HiGo, Key Return ? Where does the key switch connect to?
just tried this and no bueno.. Because the orange wire ends up on the V+ controller side the controller is always powered on.. Having a two switch system would work, one for the CA and another to bridge the white and yellow in the throttle cable, but i really want to make this a one switch system......

( should have done the reverse.. sorry.. i know ) So given the above scenario.. what if i cut both the V+ and Orange wires in the pigtail between the CA and the Baserunner WP plug, series solder my on/off swit...

Re: Giant Twist - Ride Control Display problem
I quadruple checked it and yes, i'm positive i got it right.. This thing is pedal assist only ( no throttle ) and 250w so the 3 modes are pretty much meaningless.. put it all back together and the kit works fine with or without the display... reached the max time limit on how much i'll work on it, s...

DeltaQ 48v 1000w charger
Picked this up from someone on ES a long time ago, still in the box and i never even powered it up. Not sure what it's worth but let's start at 250$ USD shipping included anywhere US / Canada ( unless you live 200 km on a far away road that adds 1000 to the ship cost.. you know if you do.. ) It's a ...

i wish it was that simple... After much probing, a few observations... 1- with the display disconnected, Blue/Red and Black/Yellow bridged to run without the display, the motor behaves the same, severe magnetic lockup 2- with display hooked up, pressing the middle button a few times to flip di...

Re: SLCD-3 display settings, P and C parameters
Hi guys. I'm working on a trike that a local bike shop delivered for troubleshooting... it has a front wheel 20" DD motor, running 36v, thumb throttle, pedal sensor, and LCD3 display Problem is this, when the display is powered up, the motor has massive coging, like if regen was enabled or park...

Re: Battery concern.
Controllers have Max Amp ratings and that rating does not change according to the voltage you put it.. it's a fixed number... ie : 20 or 25 amp controller... or 35 etc...
example.. a 10 amp controller will draw 10 amps from either a 36v ( 360w )... or 48v ( 480w ) battery.

Re: Li-PO no balancing, 48 V Electric Bike 4,000 mile experi
Nice ! I take mine up to 4.15v full average ( nothing over 4.20.. ever.. ) and down to 3.60v ( resting ) and have balance charge once a year at the start of the season ( fully charging to 4.20v with RC charger, all cells .. then go back to bulk charge ) You have to keep an eye on them, every charge ...
