Re: Brushless controller tuning modifications

I have one of those little temp displays too - they're pretty cool and great value for what they cost. Nice lipo collection but you need to do something about all that mess of wiring! I'd be shortening all the leads and permanantly connecting the parallel units to effectively create banks of 20ah 6...

Re: Controller active fan/filter cooling

at the other side of the controller i have 2 holes. If i put my finger on it i can feel the air sucked in. This airflow is what i think blown over the FET's. I also see it on my temp meter which is inside the controller on the FETs when i turn the fan on arround 52 celcius...the temperature is coole...

This meter is a selfpowered blue LED display which can measure voltages between 8.5 and 30V DC I want to hook this meter up on my seperate 4S4P pack (old ebay lipo 4ah/15C) which p...

Re: Controller active fan/filter cooling

i like the air filter principle. instead of using your 60mm fan i use a 40mm which also is slightly thicker. This will fit better at the end of the 12FET controller. I glued it with a 2 component epoxy on the side. (i will post picture later) this is the fan i used. http://media.conrad.com/xl/9000_9...

Re: Buying a controller and charger - how do I minimize cost

"Why not use 2 6S packs to get 44.4V ?" So are you suggesting that I build two x 22volt packs? What would be the advantage of that? Just to keep it clean and simple. the more packs...the more wires for connecting them all together. because you want to connect them in series and then parallel them...

Re: Buying a controller and charger - how do I minimize cost

It would be most convenient for me to by (4) 11.1 volt batteries to get my 44volts (s) and then buy multiples of 4 batteries to get the amperage that I want (p). I want to start out with 20amps at 44v and then as soon as possible add 10 more - maybe even 20 more, and still stay at 44 volts. Why not...

Re: Over volting a controller

only way to know is to look inside the controller and look what's inside.....
I think that allcaps inside are 63V or 48V minimal...especially a 110Amp controller.

Re: Best VGA to TV signal converter?

What kind of tv do you have ? What do you want to put on this tv screen? because old tv's which only show NTSC 720x480 or PAL 768x576 computerscreen resolutions are minimum 800x600 (4x3) are then downgraded in pixels which will result in a poor quality picture especialy text objects.
