A123 20 AMP POUCH CELLS

Been chasing this pipe dream for a year, only to find, that some buyers win and lose. Obviously these cells were intended for use in some thing.
The Question is what and where, are they are being used .

Re: How to vary a power supply current?

There 12 volts, 12.5 amps, I run them at 8 to 10amps I pick up 6 units delivered for $ 30 on ebay and found 3 in the trash. Dam !! MDD0127 ! I clearly realize just how grossly frock up the system is, as you described. Just saying you might as well pitch your bitch voting, while you still can ! And yes most likely won't make much of a difference. Use it while you can. My feeling is, that if left to the pricks in control, ...

Re: balance charge... one cell at a time ?

I charge and balance my 2p12s headways using celllogs, the way the OP wishes to do, it does work quite well. However its dam tedious, 5 min./cell, thats 2 hours. I can't imagine doing 24 cells. I would never charge lipos this way unless I had automatic shut off. One of these days ill invest in some ...

Re: How do I make this slow and strong?

I get the impression that hub motors run good at there top speed , but don't like to be lugged at low speed.

Id go with a 500 watt brushed motor and gear it way down. Good bet you could find a brushed motor with gear reduction included.

Balance charging with a ultrasonic generator

I bought a 28 kilohertz ultrasonic generator, with the intent of driving multiple, capacitor/bridge circuits for isolation per cell. This is an idea Ive been obsessive about, after some reading. I figured if it fails I will use it for its original proposes (cleaning) since it came with the transduce...

Re: BMC brushless 1500 watt motor from superkids

There's a lot written about the 2000 watt bmc motor, similar to the 1500 watt model. I my self have chased this motor among others.
To me the motors are over priced and when I ask, there out of stock!!

Funny this topic seems to surface every 6 to 8 months

Wheel bearings

My old Moped needs wheel bearings. Fat chance on replacements, plus the original bearings are the bicycle type, threaded rod, nut for play and nuts for mounting. The plan is to use cartridge bearings 12 mm i.d. 32 mm o.d. width is not an issue. These bearings come in many types, angler contact, radi...

I have had success with a bridge rectifier and a motor run capacitor However use with great cation As I understand your circuit, it would give a 120Hz pulse ; would be cheap and easy to build, although it wouldn't be able to change the timing of the pulses (if that makes a difference). It also look...
