Re: 36 volt, 750 watt Bafang BBS02
I wouldn't offer much since it could be on it's last leg (or should I say gear tooth?) due to how it's obviously been under abuse.

Re: Mobylette - Mxus3000, 120v
This project is long gone. I gave up on it shortly after my last post. Too much deal with on mixing moped and bike parts. I'm back to just using the ebike. Can't stand being stuck in traffic and enjoy using bike only infrastructure to get away from the stinkies.

It has a separate 36v drive unit for the rear wheels and a variable throttle control. It just needs batteries. The motors are independent and all you need to do is g...

I have a dead Greenworks 80v 2ah battery in case anyone is interested in the shell with the bms/electronics. For the longest time I was looking for this, but don't need it now that I'm not mowing lawns anymore. (ebay seller sent me a dead battery) PM if interested

Also have a dead Greenworks 80v 2ah battery. A handful of the cells are at 0volts. The majority are still good. $30. Good for the bms, shell if not the cells.

Cheap lithium batteries in Austin TX
Not shipping any batteries. Must meet in Austin. I have: two 11s 12p packs. I bought them as new large laptop batteries. They've been staying balanced and I would guess get over 10ah, never did a full test. Let's say 220 watt hours. 4-6 years old These next ones are Turnigy lipos, standard 10c 5ah w...

Fairing mold
Project that never completed. I built this mold to form a fairing for my Emoto. It's mostly styrofoam with plaster on top. Wood base. Delicate and could use a new layer of plaster. Nice parabolic form. I was studying Craig Vetter's work on streamlined motorcycles. I don't think shipping is a great i...

Re: New 80 volt push mowers
Thanks for the offer on the charger. I have two and rarely charge between jobs. I have 4 2ah batteries which last me about 10-12 jobs trimming and blowing. Sometimes I'll bring it into a place I'm eating lunch at to charge.
I may want to charge them at home a bit slower than 2c to prolong their life.

Re: New 80 volt push mowers
Is your blade height correct? Matching the height was a challenge on my customer deck (which was just a piece of wood). I now have the other motor on a Homelite deck and it matches. I've been putting a ton of use on the Greenworks mower. 45-55 lawns a week now. Probably over 600 total. It's a good m...

Re: Lawnmowing: manual and electric powered
The deck wasn't the main structural component, but when the sides of it hit bumps in the terrian that's when it flexed.
I doubled the size of the discharge opening on my Greenworks deck, sure helped with clogging. It's fun taking a sawzall to fix things.

Re: Lawnmowing: manual and electric powered
Hmm, I may have learned something, thanks. My dual motor deck had the blades offset a few inches. They passed each other with about 1/8" clearance, just enough to make sure no grass was missed. That part worked well. The biggest issue was that I didn't have real wheels on the right side. I put ...
