Began dirt @12, ski @14, street @19, boarding @23, contracting @30, fatherhood @36 ended all but contracting. 140 on a bike, trees @ 20 & endo's just don't seem all that thrilling anymore.... girl scouts & PTA rule....!!!!

Rear hub, looks like 2@2- 2 1/2" washers cut to fit over axle (C-cut) bolted thru the drop-out area w/3 or 4 bolt, nut combo would eliminate drop out concern. ie:{washer/frame/washer} Then drill/tap axle nutz for set screw. If all else fails, duct tape.

With 1M$ I will make giant injection mould and make frames out of recycled polypropylene. If the 1M$ will be gift the frames will cost under 50$. And first 2500 will be free. Any one know of a way to figure the torque that should be applied to hub motors....? Beings that there is limits to the nutz/axle steel and compression to the unit itself, one would think manufacturers would specify. Also, why nutz use a bit of LocTite......and or aviation nutz & wire , cotter p...

In the very areas you excluded. SLA is too heavy and LifePO4 is still FAR too expensive. I'd be renting a small cargo ship loading it up with a carpload of GOOD quality LifePO4 from China and dumping them on the NA market at close to cost, rinse repeat, rinse repeat, driving down the over inflated ...

Chalk another one up for Mr. Ping. So I think I blew up my BMS. I shorted the charging wires together, big spark, and now it wont charge. Battery seems ok, but BMS is done for.
