Re: Discharge C rate

You better have some lipos if you want that thing to put out 15kw. That is the strange part. I know it has a 1.4Kwh battery. Whole pack and electronics weighs 65 pounds? Motor is rated 20 HP. I know it's a shot in the dark to ask. What I'm trying to see is, is it possible to hack the electronics to...

Re: Discharge C rate

I don't know. I just want a rough guesstimate. They are 4.2V for sure and probably 20S 2P maybe 1P. Can't find any info online.

Discharge C rate

If I have a 115V 1.4Kwh lithium battery and a motor rating of 15KW, what would be the max C rate discharge for say 10 seconds without battery damage ? Hope I said that right. Trying to figure amp draw at 10 second time period or time to cross intersection green light as a power assist to a 2....

Re: 2015 Nissan Leaf motor-differential-controller

I bought this to try to parley some of it into a controller for my BAS E-assist altermotor project. AS far as I can remember, nearly everything is available for a conversion project, including most of the battery. Unfortunately, I just sold the BMS and cable from the battery. Seller even did some ha...

Re: Highway legal 3-wheeler

I can't see why a titled Honda, Harley, etc., can't be converted as an experimental build. All you are doing is swapping the rear wheel/swingarm for a differential. I have seen several experimental plates on vehicles over the years. You can find older motorcycles for not much money. Agree with AW ab...

Re: Highway legal 3-wheeler

Look up Lexus RX400H carrier or Toyota highlander Carrier. This is the Toyota MGR motor REAR car section. Google it or Youtube it. Surely you have seen the Honda Goldwings with the VW trike conversion. Adapt a motorcycle frame, that is "licensed" and put batteries inside the frame. These are rear fr...

For Sale: Nissan Leaf Battery modules in FLORIDA :Edit

Just purchased a complete Leaf battery (48 modules) with under 10K miles. Will be delivered to Fl on Sat. the 11th of March. Whatever is inside ( cables, connectors, etc.) will probably also be available. I need some for myself, but, probably 30 modules will be available. Great for home backup or of...

Re: German Industry Calls for Measures Against

Seems really stupid to me that ebikes are "dangerous" to pedestrians, but, cars that are constantly made to go faster and used by most people that maim and kill totally innocent families, etc. are totally allowed. The rules down here are very lax and people in the USA, Canada, etc., just don't get h...

Re: Update files Lebowski controller IC, latest: v2.93

The SW motors are readily available and very inexpensive in the USA. They are perfect size for motorcycle conversions and there are no inexpensive low voltage (120v-200v) controllers for a suitable battery pack that will fit a motorcycle. I just sent a PM to e-vector in Spain, to see where/how he fo...

Re: Update files Lebowski controller IC, latest: v2.93

I am interested in using the e-assist from GM for motorcycle conversions. They are relatively inexpensive, and, down here in CR, there are tons of 125cc-150cc's to convert. We are still paying nearly $6.00/gallon for gasoline. I just purchased a complete 2015 leaf battery and whole drive train and h...

So, Arlo, do you think a change of code would work for ACIM. I know they need a resolver for rotor position.

Some say only inverter, some say only converter, some are really inexpensive and some are way more expen...
