Re: QS 3000w midmotor
Hi
getting undervoltage error. Controller and motor is right from factory. Trying to run it. Battery is some scrambled 2 x 10S3p lipo, overall 72v nominal.
Running app EM150 with can.
What to try to remove / solve that error?

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
different pitches, different lengths, see pic. more tooth does not mean less noise. Unless you install bigger front sprocket and motor rpm drops down, so yes, there will be less noise but mostly because lower rpm, but less mechanical advantage which is opposite what is aimed. Noise is created by cha...

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
72T and 12T will give 6 ratio. 72T and 10T will give 7.2 ratio. If it is too sluggish from start, change it to 10T later on. It all depends on rear wheel diameter and tire selection and amps supply. Or in between with 65T and 10T - 6.5 ratio, but with 72T more freedom to change gearing later on. The...

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
nucular 24fet (500A phase, 300A battery) is very enough, but up to 20s (90v). Maybe can be 21s, need to ask if is safe to go near top values on this controller, also it might depend if you use regen braking. Regarding splitting modules or not. If you can accommodate unsplitted modules into frame and...

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
Everybody will have different opinions about it. It will be a weak if you want to pull wheelies at 100km/h. It will be strong to spin wheel in low speeds if geared correctly. The lighter the bike the better performance. Also take into account that it is not just motor which gives you good performanc...

Re: QS MOTOR,0.5-14kW Electric Hub Motor Manufacture China
It's very good that you stated that cleary because I think I and probably others assumed that slower motor needed, less rpm are need, something like 4000rpm with field weakening when building bigger wheel ride. I totally believe with higher reduction you might win some more torque on rear axle. I th...

What rpm you aim for? What's wrong with current, max 6000rpm with field weakening.

They don't do customisation if not plannet to do so. And they did not plan to do custom winding for the motor.

Cant seem to make my controller run slower changing the DC currents and the phase currents, only works when changing the motor speed percentage but this makes the motor run hot, any input would be helpful I’m running a 96120 controller Run controller slower? How does it is even possible. What do yo...

Re: higher or lower kv
Speaking of 205 3kw hub in rear wheel. The reality is that lower kv pulls better of the line and following is simple example, explanation why people are saying so. People are having controllers like Sabvoton or Kelly or some Infineon etc. Controller is very important factor in how much thrust you wi...

Re: 19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)
12g does not mean precise digits. Well, it does, but better find out what you buy in mm. It does not mater what geage it is, 12,11,10 will do fine. The chepper it is the more crap you get. Maybe you rim spoke holes are too big for 12g spoke nipples? Find out your spoke nipple diameter and rim holes ...

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
Current floods motor with more current when field weakening kicks; motor does not converts it to mechanical energy and more heat is happening. If temp is not monitored that something will burn. At least with cheap controllers it is. Just poor controller design.

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
Can use sabvoton even though qs does not recommend it for the motor. It will run but I don't know if field weakening will work as good as with votol.
Also I think sabvoton does not run sensroless.

Re: QS 3000w midmotor
eee291, Can find out whom you are asking about speed. Anyways. If you are terrified by your bike than goal reached :) Lowering gearing you will lose thrust, instead just reduce amps till you get to safe zone. What's your top speed with current 5:1 gearing and what speed you aim for? If you terrified...

This is what I had as reference: https://www.maedler.de/product/1643/1615/362/1656/2123/kettenradscheiben-krl-ohne-nabe-08-b-1 your example: 114 teeth, 9kg, 88 € (excl VAT) quite some figures, admittedly - but a feasible solution. Aluminum would be nice, sure, but I doubt that it will be cheaper. Y...
