Re: Aussie ebike battery goes up in flames

Makes me think there may be some anti electric vehicle campagning going on, there some very backwards thinking folk here or a quet day being a reporter Hanlon's Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." Not the Ebikers stupidity was my point but that it rea...

Re: Aussie ebike battery goes up in flames

Phew!! that was hectic! (Victorian's ) In the U.S., this might not even make the news if you lit the battery on fire and tossed it through the window of the local news office. Unless Trump tweeted about it. Makes me think there may be some anti electric vehicle campagning going on, there so...

Re: 1906 film, a road in San Francisco, 11-min

That's a very famous SF film, 'A Trip Down Market Street' if I recall. Only survived the quake because they couldn't process movie film in SF. I posted that a few places when it first reemerged, I probably put it here but I'm on my phone and can't search. I think Spinningmagnet's has more footage b...

Re: Bollinger SUT

If you don't want to drive a car, then choose not to. But it's immoral to tell entire communities on the other side of the country that they have to live exactly the way you choose to live. If traffic in the cities is not working out, then it is clearly the fault of the government for doing such a ...

Re: Australian helmet laws

So go ahead and spend your money, endure discomfort, make cycling look more dangerous than it is Except that they are not expensive and not uncomfortable, I put one one for the same reason I put on a pair of sunglasses or a hat on a sunny day, if a hat stays on at speed I may use that but the helme...

Re: Australian helmet laws

Good points all round but to me regardless of a law I will still wear one especially when mixing with traffic or hooning in the bush, a cycleway ride I may pass. Most falls are predictable but it's those awkward ones where you may get a clip or tap from behind that'll throw your line out and into so...

Re: The SB Cruiser: Amberwolf&Dogman's 2WD CargoTrike&DogCar

I actually dont' have any X5304's on the trike right now, the one I did have (on the right side) is still taken off after the axle broke around a couple weeks ago, and I repaired it (and the wiring) in the posts above. At present it is an MXUS 3k 45H v3 4T (M4504) on the left, and a Crystalyte HSR3...

a 7yo thread but still to me it would depend on whether the boogy pick was intentional to offend or he was just a slob, either way it seems that they don't need the business so to walk away and never return would be my response I think but it's hard to say until the same situation occurs but would c...

IF you believe that the world keep changing... like more and more folks... and increasingly "urban"... a lot of cities and places all over the world are coming to the conclusion that with regards to "traffic" there's such a thing as "too much" of a "good thing"? LOTS of places going "car fr...

Wankery Watt he said. (Hard to pedal? Plenty of (empty) seats? Lots of (empty) cargo spaces?) I'm suspicious... Isn't that like any car? Sure too many people use them when a bike is adequate but there are some that do need that space for tools and materials etc and it is electric perfect for an off...

Does it run as fast backwards as it did before, if your controller has a reverse function the two wires only need to make contact to go in reverse or check your phase wire connections
