Re: 72v 1500W 40A Hua Tong CA08 XM06AD_P04.1 controller

I have just ordered a couple of 1200w 60v controllers from Greentime and they are being sent via Hong Kong post with a tracking number through Australia Post and it is costing me around $8 each for shipping. This is great news as in the past, Greentime could not/would not use HK Post, only DHL whic...

It is really hard to guess which model you get when you order. Greentime has the original, but their shipping is much more expensive than from DHGATE. I have an extra on, just across the border from you and if you can wait until April 20, I will be in Bellingham and can ship from their. PM me if int...

I don't think either of these test jockey's have ridden an ICE motorcycle. If they did, they would have a kill button shift. Cranking the throttle off and back on is pretty lame.

There is a white shrinkwrap that comes in huge sheets. Most marinas wrap 20-100 boat in it each fall. Cheap like borsch. Glue the wrap together, heat it and your done.

Re: World's largest offshore wind farm opens

Indian builds Thorium Reactors because Thorium is abundant in their area, and it is difficult to adapt for weapons production. The cost pencils different if the country is looking to produce power without adding to the carbon footprint. There's more to the story and I don't understand it all, excep...

The rust does not matter. The plunger goes into the coil and will vary the inductance. Pull the wires off and check the coil for continuity and short to the case?

A tadpole trike with a pole loop from the front of the BB TUBE, over his head, connecting to the back of the seat, makes getting on and off a snap. Thanks. Unfortunately I couldn't visualize the above description. Obviously I am no artist, but two bars would be better. One from either side of the b...

Re: Electric tricycle for a disabled person. Needs ideas!

I spent a few months in a chair, so have some experience. If you have good upper body strength as you BIL does, getting in and out of a tadpole is very simple. You need a "dock" at the height of the tadpole seat, and/or an overhead bar that you park the tadpole under. I remember well the physio expe...

eVox, something new by ProCycle

From the super salesman; Charges in one hour, goes 40-150km. Battery placement looks good. Motor in the pedal housing, (BB). Made in Canada, with an office in Shanghai? $3500 and no suspension. Hmmm?

I am surprised no one has mentioned this source of almost free heat. Waste oil. We built a crude system 50 years ago to heat a clubhouse shed with large cracks in it. Now there are many examples of a great improvement; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_burner They burn everything from waste cooking o...

There is something very goofy going on here. The cost of building a 1MW tower on land is $1M. The cost of building one in the ocean is $6.5M. 70% of this cost is being subsidized by the UK government. Experience has taught us that whenever subsidies are involved, costs are inflated. What is the inductance of this outrunner? If we can see the HALL's firing on a scope at slow speed, we can make a WAG as to the accuracy of their placement. Then, as we increase rpm, if we continue to watch the HALL's on a scope, we should be able to see the trace if it gets lost? Then we can make a...
