Re: 19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

That is a pretty awesome testimonial. I never had good luck with bicycle tires when I ran them....twice I had to do the walk of shame. That was also when I ran smaller lighter motors, BMC geared, xlyte 40XX and MXUS. When I went to a QS205 I also went straight to 17” and will never go back. The 3.00...

Re: MXUS coming out with a 5K-Turbo motor, 55mm Magnets

So I non stop heated up a Mxus 3k at 7KW and less yet I’ve pushed 14.5KW through a QS205 V3 3K motor. Here After a few years and it’s still going strong. I think there might be some misconceptions on actual power ratings and efficiency.

Go with what ever makes you comfortable.

Bike looks really light since there is so much open area. Do your knee’s fit behind the battery cases or do you have to spread them to ride?

Looks excellent! Great attention to detail.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I just recently had my MaxE fixed and it took about 2 months. Total cost was about $265.....they had to replace 6 FET’s and one driver. Shipping is the killer! Have no idea what went wrong...never got that answer. Since getting it back I’ve dialed back the power to 12 KW from 14.5 KW and lowered the...

Re: Ebike MTB racers, how fast are you?

It’s funny that Dan mentions about how fast he wants to crash at.....I never put it in words before but realized I have the same philosophy. While I’m not saying it’s the quickest, fastest or best handling electric bike, my bike can peak in the mid 14kw range, top speed in the 70 mph range (never be...

Re: Building battery from MAKITA Konion PACK

I’d tell you to let them sit 2 more week before deciding which cell goes with which cell. I had some still move more than they should weeks after matching the the cells and then building the pack. It’s easier, MUCH easier to let them sit a bit longer than remove cells from the middle of a pack.....i...

Re: MaxE died while charging....how to test?

Mine was 10500 Rubles which was $168 and some change after exchange rate. Mine died after almost 4 years.....I’m pretty easy on mine with some really go fast moments......I’m already on the list for the 24 FET Thermo Nucular Controller. I think it’s worth fixing for what that is worth.....I did not ...

I probably need to know more than I do for the high power that I run.....I have no idea on your question. After about a month and a half I just paid Adaptto yesterday for the repair. It took about 2 weeks to get the payment to them....international banking BS! They said, “We replaced 6 fets and one ...

Re: Trailer hitch rack for 2 ebikes recommendations

Although it’s a dead product..the tuf rack was the best choice I had ever seen for those of us that have heavy (100 pound plus) ebikes.

I’ll probably weld myself one of these up one day.........I’d just add the upright arm most tray style carriers have to hold the bike.

Tried glidcop, copper and tungsten electrodes and nothing worked for me. Love to find the secret to copper weldin...
