Wow that is cheap. Should be a good build.

Good luck with the sale.

Re: Animalector's 1000W F/S MTB Build

hmmmm... I don't think so. Doubt i'll get that much back from my tax return.

I can't find the price but assume it's way too much.

He must mean rpm/volt.

How many revolutions your motor does divided by your voltage.

Re: Full-throttle's 1st

He's mention of 'it's a motorcycle' is just to distract you of the fact that he was in the wrong. He hit you from behind, then took two swings at you. I would take Adrian's advice, get a quote and call him up. If he talks shit, we can arrange a Melbourne ebike meetup at that same corner/same time. A...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I have a weird problem that i am sure is just a setting that i have changed. Upon start-up, for the first 30 seconds or so, the bike is very slow. Even at full throttle, the bike ramps up very slowly. Batt voltage and throttle in looks normal on the CA, but throttle out is low and rises slowly. Afte...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I am not sure if this has been answered or not, but with the latest release i am getting slight cut-outs upon acceleration. Everything is ok when accelerating slowly and when cruising. Speed limit is set to 500 kph and ramp up speed is at minimum. A quick look at your bike suggests that you may be ...

Re: crystalyte 4060 with lyen 18fet controller hall/phase wi

My H4060 isn't here so i can't tell you the color combo, but I only get around 65kph with 96v.

Phase should be around 2.5 times the battery current.

3.5a no load current seems a little high, but i would have thought that a wrong combination would cause a much higher amperage than that, and get hot.

Looks great.

Any chance you could share some details and take a close-up shot of your battery enclosure please?
Also, have you encountered any problems with your oil filled motor or 'breathing' bolt?

I am surprised Stealth Bikes didn't win a prize.

Maybe it was based on street legal bikes.

Try setting the pole count to 23. Failing that, try a different phase color combination.

Yep, I can fit my H4060 with a 5 speed freewheel in my 135mm dropouts... with a little spreading.

I will only ever use 1 battery profile, 2 would be a stretch. 3 would be a waste considering it could free up space for other options.

Hey, yeah I really should keep this updated. I'm just too lazy i guess. I visit these forums almost daily so can answer an question people have about my build. The bike is great. That's looking pretty neat. I reckon you could be selling complete ebikes, to the local area, on eBay with with a great deal of success. I know when I started researching them it was the first place i looked, before buying a cheap kit. If I had seen a complete bike, I would have gone with that inste...

Quick update on this bike/kit.

This bike still gets ridden regularly by my girlfriend and is still going strong. The bike is in need of replacements such as chain and tires but the battery, motor and controller haven' skipped a beat.
