Conhismotor 48v 10ah LiFePo4 (LiMn2O4) in aluminium case
Hi all, I recently bought myself a Conhismotor 48v 500w rear hub motor. http://www.conhismotor.com/ProductShow.asp?id=95 and a 48v 10ah LiFePo4 battery in an aluminium case for discreetness and lock-ability. http://www.conhismotor.com/ProductShow.asp?id=43 Motor spins at jut over 60kph without load ...

Re: 12 x 4110 MOSFET Extreme Modder Controller LYEN Edition
Great, thanks olaf-lampe, that's the setup I am after.
I thought that by closing the regen jumper, regen would start as soon as i closed the throttle.

Does anyone know if i could connect the "regen braking jumpers" http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/4594/regenenabledisablejumpe.jpg and the "e brake connectors" http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/5522/ebrakeconnector.jpg so that if i was to pull on a brake lever, power to the mot...

Re: Wiring/Connecting/Terminating Materials Thread.
No problem. Your battery is probably good for 500-750w, with Amps at 10A to 20A. Those small wires should be ok for that sort of current. Do you know what the C Rating of the cells in the battery are? Lyen uses bigger wires as people use his controller for much bigger projects, so he makes sure the...

Re: Wiring/Connecting/Terminating Materials Thread.
Hi Shorba Your battery will put out whatever power it is capable of, Batteries are dumb that way. The controller does all the thinking and siphons the "correct" amount of power into the hub. However, the battery and the controller have to be matched correctly with the hub. Can you please ...

Re: Wiring/Connecting/Terminating Materials Thread.
These are my 3 phase wire connectors from my Conhismotor 48v 500w rear hub motor compared to the phase connectors from my Lyen 12 FET controller. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem with too much current going through? Wow. That's a pretty shocking disparity. Can you please tell us what W...

I see, so there is no problem with having it always on? I have tried to wrap my head around how it works but find it hard.

Re: Target: 200W (ish) Aussie Stealth Bike - ideas
Hey guys, sorry to re-live an old thread, but what would the steps be to create a switch that changes to wattage output of the controller.
I have a 500w kit from conhismotor and would like to 'tone it down' whist on public roads.
