It's so amazing to see a couple of young guys doing pretty much everything in house and not having to rely on the far east for anything. True Endless Sphere guru's.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread
Hi everyone. I’ve just been balancing the battery pack on my bike with a Max-E through the BMS. Was fine an hour ago, then went to check on it and everything is off and won’t switch on again. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you resolve it? Don’t really know what to do next. Thanks. I had this ...

Re: Need help picking ebike for 60-something Dad
The specialized turbo levo is the must have emtb at the moment for sure. The new 2019 model has had a big overhaul and redesign from previous versions, so it maybe worth paying a little extra and getting this model rather than the 2018. Just buy the cheapest version and upgrade later if ever needed ...

Well done guys. The lower the noise - the more the customer.., simples! Less noise on chain drive systems is the holy grail in RnD.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike
Qulbix Q76R looks much better than Sur-Ron :D :D Looks like it costs nearly twice as much as a Sur-Ron (177%), has a smaller capacity battery, and a hub motor. Not to mention the Sur-Ron's forged frame looks infinitely more professional. I doubt that. It was self built. Quilbix frames are excellent...

Re: Tested my Panasonic cells (Opus), unsure of results
The cells need to be warm to get the best out of them. I am pretty sure that internal resistance will be a lot higher in cold temp. I found that my samsung 30Q cells give much less capacity when cold.
Also if the cells are new, i would cycle rhem a few rimes before testing

Re: Qulbix Q140MD - any experience?
Glad to hear the Q76 frame has held up well! I looked at the Vortex too, but it just looks too much like a motocross bike to be able to ride it without any hassle here I think. Performance should be similar though, and I'm hoping the Q140MD will feel natural to pedal on rather than relying 100% on ...

Its very weird why the video footage is edited at 3.14. You see a charging cable at 3.13 and then there's a little blip and it's gone. Why would they want to edit out the fact it was charging?

Give the guy a chance, Haah! The solder has barely had time to cool on the very first board. Ha! TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!! OK...no not really...this controller needs some vetting yet. But I am quite interested!!! My hope is it can do 150 volts. I'm willing to sacrifice some of those crazy 500 phase amps...

Some lovely torque. How much sag you getting on your pack. Just wondering what it takes to get to 60kph

I have few new cells from nkon here. Some after few cycles. Samsug 25R shows 11,5 miliohms AC and 18 miliohms DC at 4,08 V. Sanyo GA shows 20,4 (24 new) miliohms AC and 35 miliohms DC at 4,08 V. Re: Samsung 25R Internal Resistance
If I remember correctly, it takes a few cycles for a brand new cell to achieve it's best IR (and capacity), so that might be why you could see a used cell with lower IR than a new cell. Have to agree. I was first dissapointed when building a 20s 27ah samsung 30Q pack. First 3 cycles gave higher sag...

Re: LMX P2 : Freeride trials motorcycle frame development
Adam has ordered in some 14t sprockets for the lmx motor. I will be trying this soon with a 100t rear sprocket from eBay. This will give a slightly lower gearing ratio of approx 7.2:1 instead of the original 7.8:1 With the idea of reducing some noise from the original 12t front sprocket. The lmx161...
