I ran a 12/24v dc lightning usb had some great results, you'll be amazed of what runs on DC voltage nowadays.

Re: Walk Behind Cart

Have you thought of a mobility scooter set up, slow wind torque motor? Sounds ideal for hauling at walking pace?. I think hub motors will heat up and be too inefficient at low speeds? I could be wrong but could be expensive finding out..

Good luck with whatever you decide

Re: My New Frame build (finished)

Thanks.. I must find out my amp draw, I'm getting same voltage sag as my 10ah multistar batteries (on another bike lost the settings) , I would of thought 16ah would of eliminated this. Could anyone tell me from the screen shot above what amps you would expect me to be pulling? Is it possible to was...

Re: My New Frame build (finished)

Finished to the degree I'm using it, small issue with cutting out under load? Could be a programming issue I'll screen shot my settings it's not LVC as I set this really low for testing and with 16ah batteries there's very little sag anyway. Extremely pleased as it looks very much like a normal bike...

Check the capacitors inside will give you an idea, 63v caps I've run 60v for a short period but not recommend this close to there capacity.

Re: Battery enclosure help

Ignore the current fixings as that was something I quickly knocked up to see the results and give me some clues.

Perhaps I should go fo a more permanent fix and bring the battery terminals outside on top of the lid?

Re: Battery enclosure help

Yes the frame and lid is alloy. I did think about the idea of large Lipo straps but I need quick access to the compartment to connect disconnect battery terminals. And didn't like the idea of outside aesthetics as I'm trying to keep it clean. I am hoping of some sort of push fit on and off inside th...

My batteries are enclosed 12s so only main and balance tabs available for any evidence of I'll health, hence why I like to keep an eye on what's going on.
