Dear All Ive just taken delivery on my zippy flightmax 40c 3s 4AH cells, 16 of them. I did some checking of the cell voltages using the cell log that I bought on the same order. as well as this to take advantage of the delivery weight I bought a small turnigy 2/3s charger, and 2 packs of the HK bull...

Re: Adding hall sensors to outrunners

yeah i agree the halls are a long way from the motor but i know that its running sensored cause i wasnt lucky enough to have it work with my first wiring combination only the second, which is still pretty damn lucky, as ive probo mentioned spacing is 17.14 degrees and is pretty accurate measured on ...

Re: Adding hall sensors to outrunners

Just managed to get a 80/100 working with my 48v golden motor controller. This is my first video upload to the sphere and also to youtube. The motor is from Leaderhobby and is the EMP not turnigy. this took me most of the day to cobble together but pretty much struck lucky with the hall wire combina...

yeah not every one is mad keen on boarding enough to take it on a hike up an English hill, I had to get it done though cause there was enough snow ie waist deep, which apart from in Scotland i have never seen in the UK, needless to say there was no queue of folk to do the jumps i was attempting. motor is supposed to be a golden motor 48v. got it from devi-comfort in the netherlands as posted to the uk it was the cheapest option. Came laced in a 28inch rim for like a dutch bike but had heavy guage spokes. Fortunately i found a guy in prestwich north manchester UK, who had a spoke rolling mac...

I dont have an aline but i do own a norco team race DH, it doesnt have removable dropouts but instead i opted for some dr Bass torque plates, and what mine does have is a straight tube on the lower of the triangle which is gonna be perfect for sticking a battery rack to with some exhaust pipe style ...

Re: Doc's ULTIMATE TORQUE ARMS will fit most of the frame UP

This may be a stupid question but I havent seen the answer elsewhere. Just bought a Norco VPS for my second ebike build. This means scrapping the idea of a cheapo steel build. Since the frame is aluminium is there any issues when bonding these steel torque arms to the dropouts. Im talking the galvan...

Hey there, that 4kw hub is indeed an emax one. I managed to Buy one off eBay listed as possible faulty halls. I've bought one of mr lyens testers to check it out. From doing a quick goole check I found the company on Alibaba called proud eagle who sell the controllers. Really want to use the modular...

Re: Giant DH Comp - Damageless Torque Arms…

very nice work. I though about doing something similar on my 1000w gm scott ransom 30 alu build. In the end I bought the IDS (interchangable drop out/frame savers) and machined them to fit the hub motor axle so it would sit deep enough in the gap. I think ive been ok up to now as im at 48v though im...
