Yay maurice! This is a fantastic journey. I'll ride along for a few k's when ya get MUCH closer to Sydney. I have one question which will no doubt be referenced at some point. I thought i'd get in first. Do you put yourself more on the "space cowboy" or the "gangsta of love" side...

DUDE! glad yer semi ok. I think a 40 kph collision is the equivelent of a second story tall fall so that's pretty heroic if you just got a bruise or two. Hope it's not a smashed sternum. Yowzer!

Yeah, even if you rigged up some kinda quick release for a flame up, it's going to still be difficult to impliment with your face inside a lipo fire. *shudder* in fact, i think someone should get a "dodgy brick" into this mannikins vest and puncture it, post it on youtube..... Awesome

So....I've got 240km's under my belt now. Coming to the end of my first week of commutes and lovin' it. I think i picked the coldest week of the year here in Sydney to do it. Well, it cost "a bit" but WAY cheaper and FAR superior to anything i could come up with and if it wasn't for this harness i think i would have blown up my bike and my fingers several times over by now.

Yeah, all the series-ing, paralleling is done on the motor/charger side of the plug. Quite brilliant really. I'm pretty sure thats why icecube deleted most of his photos. Guys were pumpIng him for detailed info, getting him to do all the schematics, then just pulling out and doing it themselves esse...
