Re: Greentime controllers

Hi Lussy,
I experimented the exact same issue with the greentime 12 Fets. I'd say it was 0.5 sec at first and more around 1 sec. once I soldered the shunt. I tried the same fixes as you but no luck. very weird issue indeed.

Re: 2000w rated hub motor

I copied the link in my first post.
I'll probably open it next weekend.
I've seen the other 266 motor before and I went with the all-black cover one because of the superior weight (probably because of a thicker stator).
I cannot unscrew the "cone" thing ; it's embedded in the side cover.

Re: 2000w rated hub motor

That is my next move when I'll have time. Great idea to try the magic pie cover swap. I have a magic pie in the garage ; it's worth having a look at that procedure.

2000w rated hub motor

I've been recently seeking for an ebike hub motor that has a great quality/price ratio. The best I've found is this one : http://www.poltm.com/en/product_detail.php?pid=1093&tid=122&fid= I decided to order it since the specs and price were looking great. I received the motor and let me tell you it l...

Re: Greentime controllers

It would be great if it would be possible to do something like the XPD software with the information from the link above (byte read/write protocol). Has anyone got Leo to tell more information about anything related to software ?

Re: Greentime controllers

Thanks Jeremy, that is exactly what I think about these controllers. The lower price and the sensorless function is a plus value compared to Xiechang. In the meantine, we're stuck at hardware mod as described here : http://www.avdweb.nl/solar-bike/electronics/ku63-motor-controller.html I'll try to d...

Re: Greentime controllers

In my quest to find a way to mod Greentime controllers, I've found this : http://x8m06-c.13ic.com/ http://407.13ic.com/seller/X8M06-C.html I don't know if this information could be useful to understand the protocol that is used to program the X8M06-C chip but I think that it's a step int the right d...

Re: Changing the LVC in a 72v generic controller

Hey WTN, any discoveries on how to change LVC on your board ?
Wesnewell, did you hook up you brake lever to the "X" pad or you left it as it was ?
To get regen working at 24s, raising lvc will do the trick ?

Re: Motor size vs Power

Regarding the magic pie, will it share the phase current between more slots than a typical 9c/Hx motor ? If so, it could potentially handle more power.

Re: Greentime controllers

Speaking of the 12 FETs controller, I have a new very weird problem ; I solder unsoldering braid to the shunt and now the acceleration is slower than before... It feels like if there was a huge lag in the throttle but it disapears once I go fast. Looks like I now have a soft start controller. Does a...

Re: Greentime controllers

I confirm grounding X pad didn't regen at 24s. I guess my only option now is to wait for the lvc change mod procedure to be written. Maybe setting lvc higher with double lvc through a switch would fix it.

Re: Greentime controllers

I was thinking that regen would be enabled with an lvc of 84v. Anyway I'm gonna try to disconnect the jumper between X pad and DS pad to connect X to the ground through my brake switch. This is what I did on my hua tong and it did brake although I was running 18s.
