Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Since I probably won't need new brakes anymore, this is going to be my next victim. Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

My Fighter frame finally arrived back from Stealth today. Now I need to cleanup the rest of the bike to bring it up to standard with this clean frame. Cheers Not surprised Stealth not only honored your warranty, but improved on your fame in the process. I have been dealing with Stealth as lon...

Anyone have any drama melting the original motor? Do they connect the temp sensor and have power roll back stock? Motor seems to get very hot 20 mins post ride it’s still too hot to hold hand on it more than a second so I make that >70dec C If you smoked at 5403, you must have been climbing steep s...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Now that my fabulous forks work so good, and my rear shock works so good, and my new battery works so good, I guess I need to upgrade by brakes. I'm thinking the new black and red MT8. What's wrong with that, anything? I just need to save up a little more money, like about $340. https://www.ebay.co...

it was sportsman class, run what you brung.. still cool to see though, can't wait for some modified surrons to race the gassers next..
It was cool to see the SurRon mix it up with the gassers. The next gen SurRon will be way better for this purpose.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I wasn't going to say anything Jay, but since you brought it up, at best the guys the SurRon pilot was racing against in the open class were C riders. There is no way the SurRon is beating a B or A riders on a 450. The exception would be if the SurRon rider was an A rider, and the course was down h...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

To all those out there that swear the Sur Ron can't compute with "real" dirt bikes! This guy took first place in an open class race! Cool. Though to be fair it doesn't look like the other riders were trying too hard - most he overtook were just putting around. Bummer about the key-off delayed start...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Very nice Jay, that bike is the bomb. According to my math, you have just north of 1300wh in the battery, figure 1150 usable. With the h4065, you got some good range potential, and because your battery isn't super huge, not alot of weight from it. Perfect bike for about 30-35 km of range. Again the ...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Hey guys, I've been out of action for a while with health dramas and then trying to get on with things, but I've FINALLY finished building my beta after 2 years! (this is why I had to give up building bikes for other people!) This may be my last ebike for the forseeable future, and if so, that's OK...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

SInce the Sur-Ron rear tire only lasts 500 miles, what are you guys replacing it with? I don't see many posts about what everyone is using as a rear replacement tire, even though I'm sure most have put 500 miles on their sur-ron so they had to have replaced it. My front Sur-Ron tire is still very n...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Oh quick question ... is a fighter battery pack and a bomber one interchangable ? I think they're different voltages They are different voltages, 58.8v HOC vs 92.4v HOC. the Fighter battery is interchangeable with the Bomber, because it will fit inside the frame, but the Bomber pack will not fit in...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

I rode over to White Rock Lake today. It's about 15 miles from my house, but I managed to turn it into a 42 mile round trip. After riding about 30 miles I decided for the sake of science to investigate the theory that alcohol will make my forks bottom easier. It's a hard job, but somebody has to do...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

There is just no way to completely eliminate the noise from a mid drive completely. Even on my uncle's brose 250w pedlec Turbo Levo there is drive train noise. My SurRon was really loud with the chain drive. My thinking is, if one wants a mid drive bike, such as the LMX 64, just going to have to put...

I'm confused. What company offers warranty repairs on a product that has been modified from factory spec's?
