Re: Your Creation's Before & After Pics
SM, you might consider these as well. Sure there are more that I didn't think of. But these are all great builds, especially when you look at the time of building. Not many e-bikes like these back then. Specialized Big Hit FSR with midmount http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u10/tench8/Bighit/P1000...

Re: 27.5 plus mid drive
Started tacking up the enclosure this morning. Using 1/2 square and 1/2 round tube. found some gussets in my scrap pile left over from a different project I''ll be using for holding the battery pack securely. em3evpack enclosure 1.jpg em3evpack enclosure 2.jpg em3evpack enclosure 3.jpg Ran out of mi...

Re: GNG X1-pro 3000w
I pre-ordered. Hasnt shipped, figure they will do so when its officially release-able.
I dont know that anyone has received a unit yet.
I've other things upstream to get sorted anyway. Battery pack and mounting starts tomorrow for me.

Re: What happened to Nikola One Semi?
Dont forget about regen. A 60,000 pound machine hurtling down a hill @ 60mph can fully recharge a 400v 150 ah pack pretty quick. We were using LTO's on several of our prototype platforms due to their higher c rate. We tried 300, 400, and even a few 700 volt( :bigthumb: ) pack designs during the test...

Re: 27.5 plus mid drive
Bike's completely built. Brakes and shifter all set up, probably ride to work a few times to get the bicycle bits sorted. Weighs in a 30.5 pounds as pictured with pedals, 2.8 tires, thru axles, and the main triangle brackets attached for mounting the battery enclosure. KIMG0441.jpg here's a shot of ...

Re: GNG X1-pro 3000w
my bill shipped to the door was 806. Pretty close to a BBSHD shipped to my door. Early adoption usually is accompanied by a bit of an initial price discount. I've been encouraged to provide some feedback if I run in to any issues. Jon indicated they are looking forward to feedback from me (us). Look...

Quite a first start! Welcome! I'm back from the dead...... waffled pretty hard over a cyclone for my build. Ive used a bbs02 with great success in the past, very reliable, well integrated, but kinda boring.... No issues ever with it. This should created better balanced & overall lighter ebike th...

Re: The future of our forum - facebook versus web forums
But the only way to divert eyeballs from facebook is to create something better. There's plenty of other FB groups for people to move to. They might not come back unless our system is better or at least as good. Older internet users like me and you might be okay with forums like this one, but young...

Built this late summer, put a few (maybe 100?) miles on it. Works fine, I just want to build a neck snapper.... E Bike based on a cruiser fat bike frame and origin8 fat fork. Turned out great. Hung some nicer components on the bike as I was planning on keeping initialy, but since have changed my min...

Lidar is an effective addition to radar sensor arrays in dense urban environments where autonomous vehicles have much more environmental inputs around them to process. For scenarios involving autonomous assistance on highways or interstates, much less information is required to maintain position. Wh...
