Charged it up, then ran a discharge test at 3 amps using my LBD.. I stopped the test at 7ah.... wbb16.JPG spec says 10.4ah .. I did not want to take this thing to LVC until i open it up and probe cell voltages to see where the BMS kicks in....that.. is a tomorrow thing ! 8) Thanks for the review/pi...

Re: New Bafang Crank-drives

Hi Everyone. This weekend, I successfully converted my girlfriend's Electra Townie 21 speed with the Bafang BBS-01 Mid drive kit 36V 350watt 18A from GBK. Initial Impressions I'm going to use my production e-bike Motiv 48V Bafang BPM as a comparison. But put it simply, the power delivery is SIMPLY ...

Re: Tested an e-motion Jumper today. Impressive

Hi guys, I bought the Easy Motion Neo Race..! On the speed bit - the guy who I bought it from said he'd show me a 'trick' and then changed the speed limit to like 35 miles or something right in front of me! He pressed the up and down arrow at the same time I think. I'm quite surprised this has not ...

Re: Tested an e-motion Jumper today. Impressive

(regarding speed sensing) It would be nice if someone could check the number of pulses per rotation. Poster pjgold made a post recently on the Australian technology site ‘Whirlpool’ regarding his investigation on this issue. Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

I have a question about the Speedict Venus. The BH E-motion Neo is speed restricted. It uses a hall speed sensor in the motor to get the speed. I'm guessing that it pulses at about 5 times for each wheel revolution, but it could be faster. Could the Speedict Venus slow down the pulsing like it does...

Re: Reef Invisitron - claims 11kg and 100km range

Hi guys, I was concerned that the claims made on another forum about the Reef invisitron seem a bit over the top. It claims to be 'years ahead of its time' and that it will 'blow away all the competition'. 11kg and 100km range. http://www.reefbikes.com.au/invisitron-r1-electric-bike-carbon-road-rac...

Re: Tested an e-motion Jumper today. Impressive

''closed loop speed control'' is most likely used to govern the units maximum speed through a V/rpm measurement. Most manufactures solder in the bypass limit, some use a resistor 'pot' other a simple single pin connector and both of these are highly unlikely to be present. Given the v/rpm scale is ...

Re: Needs some input…BH Emotion Neo Jumper

The motors are all standard. Why not just change the motor for a higher RPM one? Does this look like a potential replacement motor 328rpm but 500w... the fourth photo of the motor look like 5-6 pin male connector that fit the Neo Emotion could do the trick.. the 328 rpm could increase speed to ~40k...

Re: Tested an e-motion Jumper today. Impressive

I can only guess what's possible because I haven't seen inside one. The battery will be a problem because it's built into the frame, which doesn't leave any room for more cells. The next thing we'd need to know would be the motor winding speed, whether it's that that limits top speed or the control...

Re: Tested an e-motion Jumper today. Impressive

I've never seen inside one, but it's probably possible to either hack the controller, or replace it with a Lyen Minimonster. With the Lyen. you'll lose the LCD display and torque sensor, but you gain a throttle and more power. The battery would probably struggle to supply more than 20 amps unless t...
