@ Jacobbloy I just wish to express my thanks to people like yourself that put so much time and effort into making this great piece of kit available to us all. A site like this is exactly what has been lacking and I am sure it will be a great help and also a great step forward as it will do a lot to...

thanks for your effort! would be interesting to get an idea of approximate numbers of vesc users by the numbers of unique BLCD gui downloads. :)
That is also my plan

Re: Looking inside a Boosted Board

i did a motor kv test on the boosted motor, it showed 190kv by my calculations it means that the speed limitations are lot software but hardware. I don't see you increasing the top speed of the boosted board unless by bigger wheels, replacing motor to a higher kv, or changing the gear ratio, all of ...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

i would start with refreshing the firmware, then re doing motor detection while also checking all of your wiring, then make sure that where your are located there isn't crazy amounts of rf, it can interfere but very unlikely, there is a study done buy 2 guys who hacked and controlled a boosted board...

Re: Vedder's Nunchuk RF

Just make sure the you use the latest firmware as it is unstable and can be unsafe, and don't have any of the 2k resistors installed to set the address to 0, then very soon I'll push a git hub update to the code that will search and set the address according to what you have set your vesc address to...

We have a shipment of VESC compatible vertical usb ports on order so we can make this happen. Looks to like we can save about 10mm in width by sticking with Vedder's original design! http://www.electric-skateboard.builders/uploads/db1493/optimized/2X/0/0ce2fab6424ee4c31d86389516af2261e7f4fb9a_1_623...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

Introducing the dual VESC made for simplicity. This is a twin ESC designed and based off of the VESC 4.10. Benefit: compact design when compared to wiring 2 vesc to gether Less soldering and wiring Batteries input is shared between both ESC Capacitors are pcb mountable at 45 or 90deg Both ESC connec...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

I noticed the "mellow drive" board has an "endless ride" where you kick once and the cruise control automatically turns on to keep that low speed cruising. Is it currently possible to do something like this on the VESC in FW1.14 under the ADC tab when the ADC application is chosen you can connect a...

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

If you want the satisfaction of soldering it your self, I would got to macrofab in the us they charge $150 to print and assemble the whole vesc no wires tho. But I would get then to just assemble the mcu and drv, maybe fets. then you can solder every thing els your self by hand, or reflow these comp...
