Marti have been playing with Who's Marti? Mauimart? Yes, that's right. Apparentley my idea is neither novel or crazy, take a look at this: http://etd.ohiolink.edu/send-pdf.cgi/Salgues%20Christophe%20Xavier.pdf?akron1216920443 "The hysteresis control is also referred to as bang-bang control" Page 27...

Re: New rim arrived...wrong one!!!!

I hope it is not Chain Reaction cyclery, as I order freq from Merry ole England, I better say great Britain, because they are in Northern Ireland. Technically, Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom, but not a part of Great Britain. Rather confusingly for all those who live elsewhere, Gre...

In Saint John (NB Canada) there is ONE yes ONE official bike lane. A whole 1.1 KM that meets transport Canada reg and markings to be called a bike lane Link to streetview There is in total about maybe 20 km with enough shoulder to be thought of as a bike lane, but does not have any proper markings ...

a more responsive core than a cheap Chinese controller Working, off-the-shelf, alternatives? Open for sugestions Pretty much as already suggested, you have a few choices that would work OK. Lebowksi's dSPIC, or one of the FOC development systems, like the one that burtie and Marti have been playing...

Re: 20kW Powerstage for "Infineon" 12 mosfet Controller

Lebowski's right. It's vital that you only have one control mechanism here. The risk of two separate, asynchronous, output PWM switching systems causing a critical failure is pretty high. Stick with just controlling the speed PWM, which may well mean having to use a more responsive core than a cheap...

It would seem that it behaves a lot better when it's not raining, so could be something else. Will strip it down at some point soon....so damn annoying though. Was the temperature different when it wasn't raining, like much colder? Could be temperature related, as the switching point of these senso...

Re: What controller do I have and 48V to 72V on it?

You say that for one shunt in place, but what if I added both in and got the max Amps to around what they used to be at stock (27 Amp peak)? Do you think the damaged phase would handle all the current? Could I still push the amp peak up a bit more after that to maybe ~35A? The controller was at mos...

Re: 20kW Powerstage for "Infineon" 12 mosfet Controller

I understand what you're suggesting OK, but to control motor phase current needs proportional control. You will need to finely control the PWM duty cycle by providing feedback that is proportional to the error signal derived from the difference between torque demand (from the throttle and pedal sens...

Re: Replacing fet question

If there is a mix of 4410 and 4110 FETs on the same phase (i.e. paralleled) then they won't current share properly (because of the difference in Rdson). The 4110s will take the lions share of the current and the 4410's won't be doing anything useful. The result may be early failure. If you're going ...

Re: 20kW Powerstage for "Infineon" 12 mosfet Controller

It probably won't work, unfortunately. True torque control requires the controller to tightly maintain control of motor phase current. This needs a control loop that senses phase current, compares it with the demanded torque from the throttle and then adjusts the controller PWM by the right amount. ...

Not sure that Wiki is that reliable, and ur source is? OK, it came from a UK newsfeed, which may not be that accurate. Jeremy makes good points about the availability of high rate of fire weapons. I have hunted my entire life. The AR is very light, accurate, and deadly; but not "required" for hunting.
