Though real life, if you had four water tanks connected with hoses from one to the next in sequence, and all four tanks were at, say, 100psi, the pressure at the ends of the hoses connected to the first and fourth tank would still be 100psi, and not four times higher like voltage is when batteries ...

I believe a tandem tadpole is about 80 pounds without electric power or suspension. There are lightweight, low to the ground, full suspension 2 wheel recumbent bikes (which of course save a lot on wind resistance... they're a little better than recumbent trikes for that). In the USA I think one that...

in regards to the whole crank-length/cadence debate, I think it's unwise to assume too much about it unless you've either looked in to what has been written by people who've tried different crank lengths, or tried different widely different crank lengths yourself. One of the things that seems to be ...

all this talk about how to match up motor speed to cadence. As far as I'm concerned it's: ((favored pedal speed => favored motor speed)) ...at times when both the pedals and motor will be in use. When using one or the other (maybe you want to pedal without motor whenever it's flat ground or downhill...

Also I'm pretty sure all new scooters have to be four-stroke in the U.S. All the ones I saw were, though this is California.
I checked google and it looks like you're right-- it's not just California.

My dream bike will take me at least 100 miles on a charge with a speed of 25-30 mph, combining the speed of the motor and my pedaling, have a built in charger, have both front and rear suspension, be about 10" longer than normal (comfortable touring bike) 2X7 speeds and weigh less than 80 poun...

you could put the same kind of hubmotor in each wheel, and then you'd have a hillclimber motor (rear) and a high-speed motor (front).

My 24V 10Ah pack from yesa (missbattery on ebay) came to my doorstep when I wasn't home, yesterday.

They will re-deliver it on monday when my girlfriend is home. Yay!

Unfortunately, I don't have a motor to use with it yet. Hopefully that will arrive in a week.
