Re: Questions about inner controller of BMSBATTERY

I use the so called inner controller for the 50 cell hailong cases quite often, it is the same as the s06s controller in both power and behaviour.
This hailong2 case controller seems to be similar.

Re: 30 18650 cell case

Thank you for your reply. Indeed, that would be a solution, but it would take quite a lot of time to make and a constant quality for a small series would be hard to obtain. Another solution would be to find "some box" which happens to have the right volume and adapt it where needed. But I'...

30 18650 cell case

Hello all,

I'm searching all over for a 30 18650 cell case.
I would like to build 10s3p batteries (so there must be some room for a BMS and a charger port.
Does anyone knows where to find this?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Of course I did some maintenance and once replaced a broken sprag clutch (that was epic BTW: gas torch, lots of heat and ice bucket). But nothing really special, just open once a year and regrease everything.
Could you please tell me what grease you used?

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I kept a wattmeter on the original firmware for more than 2 years and I know the engine behavior very well. The 36v motor was no more than 540w, and the amps setting was completely inoperative. That is my impression too... 540W is still 13A @ full charge and even 16A at low battery, which is quite ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

The controller is physically not capable of 32 amps. I believe that 18 amps is all it can put out. The setting on the stock firmware doesn't seem to work, I've tried it on several builds and feel no difference in power between max and min settings. Hmm, mine seem to work. I have 3 motors. One is st...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I do not think it is possible. The torque sensor must feel a resistance, otherwise there is no torque. On the descent, for example, the engine does not start by turning the pedals ... the wheel does not resist. Ok, thanks. I've tried to 'hold' the chainring but I guess it's not an optimal setup ;) ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

It must be very clean, noises often come from filth, a grain of sand will make it crack for example.
Apply a small amount of grease and tighten firmly, retighten after first usage.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

When a crank is tightened as it should, it doesn't ware. Sometimes the bolt comes loose and if one continues riding with a loose crank, it will deform (in this case, the square hole will get rounded) and will need to be replaced. Check from time to time if the bolt is still firmly tightened to preve...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

While converting my Nexus 7 IGH bike to 8 speed Nexus I came across an interetsing IGH hub. Shimano makes a 5 speed IGH. It's interesting because it's E bike rated. Probably world spec. 350W. 1st gear is direct and the rest overdrive, which makes it suitable for folding bikes with small dia wheels....

How fast do you have your motor broken? My motor broke down when I had driven 80km. I drove 38 km yesterday and today I had driven 40 km when the rattling noise was started. I turned my nose towards home and after ten kilometers the assist disappeared. The final result you can be seen in the pictur...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

The max rotation speed of any electric motor is indicated for a certain (nominal) voltage. Raising the voltage raises the rotation speed (proportionally). The 90rpm is at nominal voltage (36v, 48v) When the battery is fully charged, the voltage will be higher, so also the RPM of the motor. Example (...

I have measured and tested it on the bike. Here is the answer: The Yellow, Green, Blue, Red and Black are for the display, they correspond to the respective colour on the display cable. White is brake sensor cable, use the black for mass. Violet is 5v+ for the throttle, grey is throttle signal, use ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Indeed, the efficiency of an electric motor is highest when it's spinning fast. Also, the help of the motor when going through the "less easy to ride" parts of your trip will have you get less tired so that you will have more energy left to pedal through the easy parts faster than before (...
