Re: ebike build- responsability

That is why I direct people to shops which sell ebikes. teaching how to build? Non-technical person? with no tools? He wants to get on and start riding , no going to school. Most people I meet are terrified when they find out about cost of building or buying quality ebike. eBay kits being not qualit...

Re: Is a leisurely pedal cadence possible going 25 mph on an ebike?

I pedall regularly at 30mph on 36 inch wheels with EPLUS DD hub motor
11tooth rear 42 tooth front
It is kind of crazy pedalling but it increases my speed by 2mph eeasly.
So I decide my speed not motor.

Re: Max comfortable width of pack mounted in triangle

as far as I know there are ways to "spread" your legs while pedaling.
change bottom bracket to wider
or
install extenders between cranks and pedals
such extender screws into crank and pedal screws into extender.

Re: Why doesn't a li-ion battery take load?

As far as I know
There are no 18650 cells with more than 4000mAh of capacity.
Again
don't buy any cells which have word "fire" in description.

Re: What is the Best BMS for LG Chem batteries?

I built two 11S battery packs with LGChem cells.
Both packs does not use BMS.
Both packs are pretty well balanced for over 3 years right now all cells within 10mV difference.
good enough for me.
honestly I dont see any need for BMS

Re: Reduce noise of fanned charger

take your charger apart and try to change how fan is mounted
I had similar problem.
I used plastic screws and rubber gaskets to mount fan , this silenced fan quite a bit.
the problem is noise resonates throughout enclosure.

Re: Winter riding and keeping battery warm

I keep my winter ebike indoors .
Start riding with battery at room temperature.
while you draw power from batt. , it warms a bit depends on current.
I dont need isolate my pack from cold, but my winter trips are shorter .

The best battery cells are not offered for sale at.all. Ones used in hybrid cars and electric cars will never be available to public. Alberta police state?
Hardly
There is less and less inforcement on many small things - simply police pretend they dont see.
Police present is minimal comparing example with Germany
You see you must compare somthing place to other places and you have a picture not to generalize like that.

You forgot
Rim breaks wear rims, make rims weaker, wall thinner.
People seem to forget about it
I would rather replace disc on disc break than to replace rim with all this wheel building.
