Re: Greyborg build

The rivets are permanant, but there is a $25 tool to remove. They are very cheap and fit the holes in the frame perfectly.

Re: Another Raptor Build....this time Sinewave Cruising

Nice build. thanks for the very detailed read, I loved it. Only thing I would suggest: You have wire ties holding the Cromotor exit wires. They can break and then you got problems with that kinda power. I took a 5/16" wide hose clamp and put a couple layers of heat shrink over it and used that ...

Re: E-bike noob after cargo bike advice

The local shop here in Iowa builds an electric Mundo every week and has switched exclusively to the Bafang 750 watt mid drive. The only issue they have had is with the owners build that has a Nuvinci rear hub. It seams that the hub doesn't like being fed with 1 horse power  They have built a Fa...

I use a lot of foam rubber for the battery to not move around and I use Wire tie or velco for the controller.

Greyborg build

Hey All... I just wanted to put up some pics of my latest project. I bought a Greyborg Frame from Jeremy at Greyborg USA(very nice guy) along with the Cromotor, Schlumpf Drive. Had him lace the wheel into a 24 inch wheel. I ended up using the Cro in a Raptor I was working on and put a Crystalyte 350...

Re: E-bike noob after cargo bike advice

I have a Yuba mundo that I put a 350 watt front hub kit on with a 48 volt Allcell battery. It worked great for a few thousand miles and still does. I get up to around 50 miles out of the battery even with moderate hills. You do need to pedal though. I recently added a Bafang Mid Drive 750 watt kit s...

Re: Building ebike battery pack with Ryobi P108 (4AH) 18v

I have always thought that those portable tool batteries would make a great lower wattage setup because they are easy to get, low cost and chargers are fast. Good for short commuting.

Schlumph Question?

I have a Raptor with a 2 speed Schlumph drive. I like the configuration, being that I can pedal easy at low speed and still pedal at higher speeds. My question is, why do I experience the pedaling in the higher gear to kinda "Slip" or get easy when Pedal hard while going fast? If I pedal h...
