Re: Project Paragon | Trampa E-MTB | Custom Enclosure

Hey. The idea to complete mount all needet eletronics on the Motorside is for sure a compact possibility. But i cant imagine that the place is enough for a Dual Motor configuration, but maybe i´m wrong (-; I got one question. If i look at the mount i dont know how you will tension the chain/belt ? G...

Re: 3d-print e-mountainboard motor issues

Hey.

Yes its a problem if to less teeth in mesh.

I´m using a roller to use this problem.

My reduction from 12:72 is without the roller not workable.

Re: Trampa E-MTB with Skatetrucks -Ultralight Build

The Mounts are on the thickest point 16mm and on the thinnest 6mm. Not absolutely sure about the motors, depends on how stable the Skatetruck is. But it will not be an Highspeed EMTB, i need more torque. I start testing with 2 APS 6374 130KV 3200W. http://alienpowersystem.com/shop/brushless-motors/a...

Trampa E-MTB with Skatetrucks -Ultralight Build

After three Trampas with Channeltrucks i want to build one with the Skatetrucks. My aim is to get as light as possible, i would like to use this Board in skateparks and for jumping. This is the Board: Trampa Holypro 15degree in 11Ply with Ultimate Trucks and Superstar Hubs. http://www.trampaboards.c...

Re: 3d-print e-mountainboard motor issues

Hey. I dont know the ESC but i can point out something else. Your Gearratio is really bad. 3.65:1 is far away from good for an EMTB. You geared your board with the 12S Lipo for 43mph or 69kmh  I use the same Motor with a 6:1 Gearing and it pulls like hell. Go at least down to a 12tooth pulley...

Trampa EMTB Chaindrive V2

Would like to show you my latest Setup. After building the last Board with the Beltdrive i startet to retrofit the Chaindrive Board. The Board is a Trampa Shortdeck in 14PLY, handshaped, with a 13PLY Flexbridge. Without the Flexbridge it was to flexy for me, shaped to much  Topview.JPG The Tra...

Nice work my friend. Your carbon skillz are pretty well! You going straight forward to make the board more lightweight. Can you confirm that your Multistar Lipos have around 640gramm per 6S-5200mAh Pack as Hobbyking listed? I´m really trying to lower my boardweight too, build up a new Chaindriven on...

E-MTB - Series Harness, Loop Key, VESC Enclosure

Hey. Just wanna show some basic stuff for wiring up a E-MTB with a Series Harness and Loop Key. Using XT90 and one XT90-AntiSpark Connector. For the Harness i´m using 10AWG Silicon Wire, in this case from turnigy. Kabel-Komplett.JPG I´m using UK Ultra Box 308 for the batteryhousing, its good for max...

Re: Project E-Mountain Board

Hey. I doubt that you find something cheaper or similar cheap as HK. You are in the Uk? Normally i get all my Emtb parts from UK or EU Warehouse. Really rare that i need something from the international. What for parts you need from International? If weight is not an issue.. I'd go with dual 6374 19...

Re: need advice for electric mountain build please

Hey. On a MTB i would only go with Dual Motors. You talk about drifting? Go with a Dual Rear Setup. Perfect for drifting (-; 10-12S is the better way to go for a 30mph setup, btw its really fast, i would think about the gear ratio and go better with a 1:6 Reduction. I use the SK3 168kv with 12S and ...

Hey.

Its the right way to build from ground up by yourself.

Just thought about the cheap board, because its alot of work and if you use a poor quality board you have to do the job twice.
