Re: 250-350W rear hub motor advice?

Very good question, you shouldn't care too much with mxus gears, they are more strong than others, if you don't put it more than 500W continuous 1000W peaks you won't damage them. In the case they would wear I don't know if you can buy them separately, but probably won't worth the price, I hope anyo...

Re: Best way to make a 13Ah min up to 10c discharge 70 cell

If you think about doing it with 18650 cells, you can use Samsung INR18650 25R or LG HE4.

You could fit inside a 62s11p that is 223Vnom and 27.5Ah, that would make working the pack at 5C (130A) so that's a good rate for those cells to have a not bad efficiency

I don't know exactly where to find the tool, but you could make it. If you look those 3 holes near the middle are for open it. you need to unscrew it to access the inside

Re: Settings advice magic pie 4, 36v, 1000w

Configure continuous and peak power to the maximum values, I think bot are 30A continuous and 50A peak, there is not anything more to do if you can't change voltage to 48V

Re: Converting my Oxelo Town 9 EasyFold Scooter

going up a hill with a 7-10% grade require some power, you need to know that the DD hub motor will give you too much more power output capabilities than the friction drive, also more efficiency and the regen brake work very good in hub motors.

36V5Ah is enough for around 12 - 15 miles of range

I don't think it will make a very appreciable difference if you repair it, do you measure any difference in polarity?, unfortunately those magnets are not cheap and neither sold separately (as far as I know)

Re: Environment good news, ozone hole shrinking

Really good news, however this looks screwed! according to some scientists, the restoration of ozone over Antarctica might have negative effects on global warming. "Ozone itself is a greenhouse gas. A thinner ozone layer not only reduced heat trapped over the region, it helped stir circumpolar winds...

Re: Can it charge my battery?

check with multimeter what each pin does (or open it to visual check) then you can try any of those 12V - 80V headlights to check how it works. You should adjust the max voltage to 4.13V - 4.15V, not less because you are making the balancing function of your BMS (4.20V probably) too far, so you are ...

Re: Silence possible ?

The sound itself, how much energy is it? How does inefficiently and audible noise relate?
Not appreciable. Sine wave controllers are not much more efficient than trapezoidal ones. But not even more efficient because are more quieter, I doubt the sound a DD motor generates even reach 1W of power
