Re: I am back AF

What are the facts? Or what is the most factual info pertaining to this? Don't bother ME with anything less, please? Also, pertaining to D's last post, who is 'the nut'? Cuz that's kinda name calling lol and I'll defend that even if it wasn't me (just not as hard). No 'one' is a 'nut' . . . except a...

Beauty is in the eye of beholder of course! And who the hell said that one first? Who will say it last? Omg. Here's a few I might update my user photo with. It was almost unreal in person. Re: Bike plans 4 summer

Maybe for winter, or summer, I'm thinking not to ditch the Klein Mantra, but to redo the swingarm (URT) extension for a wider better made dual FW hub (too much wheel bearing maintenance currently), that sits back far enough to run a shinko or a 3" x 24" knobby. The eastgem bike can wait- it's hangin...

Re: mobile charging w/ modified sine, from lead acid

Those little gennys only cost a hundred so that's their appeal I guess. And 2 stroke is the simplest Ice. I also have a dual fuel 4kw genny from ebay that's nice (esp on propane), but that kinda power and size is more for a whole RV or small house imo. The 2 stroke is just a nice cheap stowable redu...

I'm almost sure I posted this somewhere, but had to listen to it again and literally right now is the first I watched the music vid which is okay. The rest of their songs sucked tho imo. Re: mobile charging w/ modified sine, from lead acid

I just stole my 'house battery' from my van for the forklift since the lipos finally went to shit in that. I was running 4s which started it nicely (tho might have blown the alternator regulator hehehe), but they were sick and one string was constantly down at 2v or less. I brought it back from the ...

Re: mobile charging w/ modified sine, from lead acid

Yep I think it makes sense to charge from the car if it's not a really demanding duty cycle. Saving on multiple fronts, noise included. Just get enough storage behind the car in 12v and do whatever you want with an inverter. Supplement the recharge with whatever or solar. And for coffee, I think fre...

Re: Solutions for 'blackenng' aluminum?

Good info, tho I thought there might be a solution that didn't involve paint ? Like maybe hook a car battery up to a black cat and the aluminum . . . or something? Adding to DS's list, (possibly), acid etch primer, and truck bedliner spray. I've been liking both for various reasons/project...

Re: Destroyed my CA3?

iirc, adding a speedo was as simple as adding one wire to one fresh pad, and jumping another with the second wire. I think I had to move or clip an existing lead as well. Eitherway, if your trouble arose from there it really should be a straigtfoward issue/fix. unless a semiconductor inexplicably go...

Out towards HBG- I got a circa 2004 norco shore II frame with decent hub, 2 stage seat post, and eight eleven (or whatever) crankset. Also have rims and possibly the rear fox coil shock. Not a huge triange, but a nice DH /FR frame. Let me know.

I haven't read too in depth, but it appears you totally dodged the question Bill. And while the point is true that 'we can produce alot more over time as tech increases' (which is kinda an obvious trait of CIVILIZATION), why are you mincing facts to say it? Oh yeah, cuz you dodged the question. Yes ...

Apparently DMT is the new 'trip'. It's derived from fairly normal grass but theres been something removed that would normally counteract the dimethyltryptamine iirc. It's 15-30 minutes in-and-out but people say it's a lifechanger like no other. But I have little interest in hallucinogens as 'medicin...
