Re: New "Lingbei MM28.250 torque sensor mid drive"

I have the cable and can show you the pinout - what version do you have? The newer versions can be programmed through the display port - older versions require opening the motor... I'll dig up the info this weekend if I have time... We have had limited success with improving the torque function on t...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If the axle is a bit loose, you can remove the gasket/seal on the non drive side, and insert a washer or two behind the lock ring... then re-insert the lock ring... may be a task to get as tight as you want, but I assure you, if you get it tight, it removes the problem. Several people have tried and...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

The 850C does have a wattmeter actually - for the TSDZ2 version. FYI - the 850C is actually carried by other companies as well  some had it made a while back and kept quiet :D Thanks for the clarification Eyebyesickle. Eco Cycles rocks! Can't wait to see what you do with this stuff! Ha, I'm j...

HOW TO: Battery Powered Lights Controlled by Display - Internal Relay Modification!

check this out! It's simple enough, but I'm pretty excited to be able to run high power lights directly from the motor and controlled by the display! I'm always looking to squeeze any slick upgrade in that I can, but this is very useful in particular to me to avoid potholes etc! I got a slick way t...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Does anyone know where to find the seal that goes in the old style TSDZ2 chainring spider? The part that seals between the spider and the spindle? The problem is that all of the 3rd party spiders and chainrings use this type of seal. With the old version of chainring on the TSDZ2, you just took the...

Re: $5000 OBO GreyP 12kw E-bike - Mint Condition w/ just over 200 miles

Well, sounds about right, slightly varying with technique... but I've watched the meter while cruising, and I can knock off a good .2-.5kw for short amounts of time on flat pedaling... And it's very fun as well, not to mention keeps me more engaged... So that's what I know... but good to have that i...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I am just now starting to dig deep on this, as I have been laid up mostly, and not able to test myself.... so now that I have been riding...no matter what I try to do I notice that when I am pedaling HARD, at FAST CADENCE/RPM - the motor starts to 'shudder' a little bit... I tried variations of ridi...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

AZUR - these are light bars I got bulk to accept a wide ranging voltage. First I tried a few purchasing retail, and if you search for 6" light bar on ebay, tons of cheap ones will pop up - be careful though, I tried like 6 types, and almost all of them were no good, either immediately burned out, or...

Battery Powered Lights Controlled by Display - 100mm TSDZ2

Back to riding a little bit after an injury had me limiting my activities for quite a while!!! I've been working on a few things for the TSDZ2... Understood, however an NDA may not be as ultimately limiting as you think... To gain all the info, one is required, however with permission and negotiation I'm sure there could be an understanding with the manufacturer, or I would not be suggesting it. No worries though, I am also glad to hear you a...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I bought a bunch of these displays as Eggriders . The engineers that wrote the software for the Eggrider have a small UK company and ebike business . They did a total rewrite of the firmware to work with Bafang, Lishui, and other controllers. The Bafang version is what I use because it is small, di...

SW102 display is a good solution, if it works, for a small display and with Bluetooth.

If we want a small display we can have it without an usb port.

It's a display, not a smartphone charger.

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Making progress, hoping to hear good news by next week. I have another route to go if I don't get permission by then, but things appear to be working out. You are currently using the 850c system for yourself, correct? Any new previews of the display screen to show off? I am trying not to crack open...
