Re: BBSHD & BBS02 Build Competition for Dillenger Switcheroo

The real killer version of this would be one that's hard wired into the existing wiring loom. The ability to switch from an `off road/no limit` mode to a fully legal country specific setup with a couple of button presses would be immense. Unfortunately as i see it at present you have to stop cycling...

Yes, same here, a mode for off road and one for public highway, is that possible?

No way programming your controller will have `killed` your PC,

maybe crashed it but certainly not killed it.

Re: One for the battery-builder guys

@ sunder, yes should have measured the top when the case was apart, but i think they're 18650`s as there`s 52 of them in there and its only a water-bottle shark type battery. Don`t think you`d get that many 26650s in there?? Just wondered if they were any good or no good!! (bike frame size) Frame.jpg

maybe not the worst, but not up to the standard of the Samsungs or Panasonics you reckon?

One for the battery-builder guys

Been curious to know what cells are in my battery that came with the BBS02 kit. I`m none the wiser as i didn`t want to start pulling it apart any more.. Can only read a part of the text on one of the cells - RZY5D 91335 as you can see they`re a lightish red color - any ideas (its supposed to be 13ah...

hi fiddler, i`m liking that clean look you got there, i take it you have screwed the dolphin battery mount to the frame from inside your bag then just mounted the battery from the inside? Great idea to hide all those cables and the obvious battery. And the color matching zip ties as well!! Far too m...

Re: New BBS02 build

I done a 750w bbs02 conversion on a mtb frame a couple of months ago, have to say it does the job a lot better than my other rear hub bike. When you mention hills definitely go for the 750 version, in fact if i was to do this again today i`d go for the HD item. Better too much than too little!

Re: Bafang BBS-HD, 1000W, 68mm-120mm BB

The same cable and software that worked to change settings on the controller with the 02 works with the HD. It came from Luna set for throttle in PAS 0 they way I like but they had Max amps at 25. I tried it like that then bumped it up to 30A (controller won't accept any higher number). I also trie...
