Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

To the pin setting for the last time: https://github.com/RollingGecko/ArduBoardControler/wiki/How-to-set-up-ArduBoardControl Everything is merged to VESC. So you don't need to change anything. You just can leave the OLED and the Vibrator away without changes. I currently work on a new implementation...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

The feather is fully arduino compatible. Currently I will remain on the nano. But the class allows to transfer all communication to the TX site an in the current version it should be compatible to an bluetooth implementation. I currently work on the nRF24 implementation an than I will transfer the c...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

Hi, Just transfered the complete library of VescUartControl to a class library. I compiled it. But I have no possibility to test it with the VESC in the next 2 weeks. Is somebody out there who can test at least the VescUartSample in the examples folder? I uploaded it in the DEV branch as 1.0b Versio...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

OK. Did some bugfixing and code reorganization. I also started with a versioning of the commits to the master branch. So in ArduBoardControl we have the version 0.6.1: including OLED and bugfix/codeoptimization In VescUartControl we have the version 0.1.3 including the bugfix with the compile proble...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

It is really great that more and more people start to participate in this project. I'm curious where the project will go. I defined for me now a roadmap: For the first I will remain on my hardware to save some money. I will first of all clean up the code because some things a really dirty. And a MUS...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

One of the main key features I have to work on is a power saving function over timer and an alert. Killed the lipo because I didn't switch it of. F..k

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

The idea was from the beginning to print the leveler and attach a poti. :) The usage of a bluetooth module means a complete redesign of the radio stack. Then we can only go on with this approach because I will not maintain both. But it has main advantages. We can leave arduino on the receiver site a...

@s24800:

Do you want to use bluetooth instead NRF24?
The loading chip would not be needed if the feather is used. It has already a charging circuit.
Please try not to make it to angular.

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

Hi, Unfortunately I never tried a boosted out yet. What is important in my point of view to have a defined center position. Hallefect is possible. But a poti is the most simple possible implementation and saves a lot of memory. Never the less I'm at the moment at 21K code which is 68% of the memory ...

Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

Hi, That was the most stupid error ever: I have all Debug-outputs over serial surrounded with an ifdef. By mistake I put the point where I turn the statement, that no data was received to false in such a ifdef. So in debug mode everything was fine. As soon as I turn off the Debug-Outputs, the bug wa...

Yes you should use the repo. Use on the VESC the UART. Display and telemetry are future plans and not yet implemented. Please check details in the readme in the repo.
