Re: OpenSource Remote for VESC ArduBoardControl

I think 2.4 is better than bt. However bt for smartphone telemetry would be still a great thing (combined with jacobs app  ). If it would be possible to connect an additional bt module on the rx side? dont know much about arduinos:/ Then we could also skip the oled and make even smaller and mo...

Re: Need ideas for a non-invasive battery mount on eboard!

Magnets shouldn't harm electronics, except: harddrives, some displays and maybe relays. But We don't use those ports anyway. Pls correct me if im wrong.

Re: Building 1st E-longboard

Depends on their "C" rating if they aren't already rated in amps. If they are 5Ah each, or they have low discharge (not enough for our use) or they are Ultrafire or some other brand "scam-" cells, if that is the case they only have 1Ah(1000mAh) and low discharge. Only use quality...

Re: Building 1st E-longboard

One ESC for each brushless motor!
You can buy finished vesc (Elkick, Chaka, Enertion from this forum and many more sell them).
~200kv sounds good for a belt drive board, you can always change gearing a bit. Wouldn't go much higher with kv.

Re: Noob Hubz!

If a switch could be done for star to delta on the remote that sounds great to me. Don't know if that's possible. I think that would be possible, it's already done on some ebikes and in many industrial motors. I juuuust ruined a lipo velcroed to my deck, which is good as now I'm finishing my li-ion...

Nice u hooked it up so u can do star or delta? Can u switch outside of the motor? Yes, i can switch them outside but will solder them together inside the motor next time I take it appart. There would be also the option for a star/delta switch but no need on a skate i think. For now I'm going with t...

with ''hub'' you mean connection from your wheel sprocket to your wheel's hub?

If you're looking for hub motors I would recommend http://www.carvonskates.com/

I want carry my board on a flight too, but wouldn't that change anything? They don't let you take the spare battery pack then?:(
for connectors XT60 or XT90 are my favorites, and they should be both fine for 10&12awg what I ASSUME they are using.

Antispark - need some general info about FET's
