Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Good news, it seems for my 14s7P Project it won't be necessary to make a 2 part battery, just make it like a parallelogram and you can slide it in the bike (still other tests to make) Seems to confirm what I had estimated https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=100198&start=82...

29" for with 27.5 wheel does change the geometry a bit though. No idea how significant :)

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hi. My battery will come parallel with 14S5P battery. I am not using BMS in it, i measure balance with fluke. Maybe i will use ideal diode between batteries. I did one extra battery (hailong case) which i carry in backpack. This new will come for longer runs and will be connected same time with oth...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

IGH is easy if you get rid of the LH sprag clutch, which isn't strictly necessary with some controller programming. It actually requires some adapter, would only be possible with the future 170mm Kindernay (that I could find), and I went through this in details in the posts below :) https://endless...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

I always wondered if it would be possible to use power meter cranksets for this: https://www.cyclingnews.com/features/best-power-meters-for-cycling/ Thanks for digging that one up TorEddy, so far my best bet was on pedal pressure sensors... I will see if I can find out more about what interface the...

The Neematic principal in a lighter frame with a smaller motor and battery, would make a great starting point for LMX's next model.
I agree, but they would have to find a place for a torque sensor...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

No, With a torque sensor, they where fully activating the motor and allowed you to power the bike naturally.
Anyway, no point discussing something that no longer is :)

Similar yes.

The Neematic is far too heavy for pedals to be useful anyway. The LMX is right on the edge of that category too.
People who rode the bike with the pedal assist actually said otherwise :)
With torque sensing PAS well tuned, you overcome the weight in a natural fashion...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

The interesting thing about the pinion drive is that executed correctly you could run just one chainline and drop a whole lot of weight. You would need a fairly high primary drive reduction to make it work and also a freewheel at the cranks as is common on a Cyclone/CYC setup. You would probably al...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

LMX, says: The torque sensing is much more precise and tunable with those new controllers, and the 5 modes allows more flexibility in the different modes tuning. That will be a great update to your bike and you will really feel the difference if you like riding with the PAS/torque more than the thr...

it's one of the pre-production models with the Nucular components. While it's back with LMX, I will upgrade to the newer Silixcon controller and display. I thought the current controller on the LMX-64 was the Nucular, are you saying the standard current controller on the LMX is a Silixcon (which mo...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Incorporating a Pinion C1.9XR in the LMX Frame I initially thought this would be major, but decided to have a look anyway :) Of course my model of the Frame is approximate as it is deducted from a series of pictures, and I do not know the details of the swing arm and motor to validate interference ...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Some additional infos for the Battery project. As you can see the Electroride 14s7P Battery is way smaller than the EM3EV 14s7P but still IMHO it would not slide in even with the motor off. Have you also looked into the triangle battery packs, if you can find a thin one, you may have more luck with...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

... the shifter requires two hydraulic cables running to each side of your handlebar. That is a downer when using internal cabeling. And shifters on each side of the handlebar can easily conflict with throttle or dropper post lever. I spoke to Kindernay about using an electric shiter like sram axs,...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

That is why in my dreams I would like LMX to incorporate a Pinion C1.9XR in the frame and find a solution to retain torque sensing capabilities. Dreams aside, it really comes down to personal preference and bike usage. I totally understand that for hardcore traditional MTB people this is not a prior...

Thanks, appreciated.

Do you know if on the LMX 64H you can switch it to unrestricted mode when you are Off road, or is the limitation permanent.
And do you know if the limitation on the H is only speed or also power?

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Quick question for LMX64 users here about speed on a flat street.

On throttle only, how fast can the bike go
On Pedal assist only (max level), how fast can you pedal the bike?

Thank you
