Re: Vector e-bike Frame 625$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE

Bottom right! I s that the new vector version 2? It look good I wish :) It is just a mockup I made when someone mentioned a vector light several posts ago, but I have no idea if that was ever a real thing. May be Artur can enlighten us, or crush our dreams :) It sure would be nice to have a mini Ve...

Re: Bultaco Brinco - 39kg/2kw/60Nm/1,3kWh

Sorry, I do not have your answer, but as a rare new Brinco owner, would you mind giving us your feedback on the bike? :) Some specific questions: Does the bike have a pedal assist mode? If yes, does it have several assist levels? How are these changed, on the controller, or separate switch? Is the P...

First, I am new to this, but in the process of learning, so I did some research in the hope it can help yours. Only take my remarks as help to figure it out, once you think you do, you should validate your solution on the dedicated battery forum before implementing it! You should make sure you read ...

If you try it, post back with results :)

I am interested to know if someone tried it on a high power bike (like 5-10kW) to find out up to what kind of power it is usable.

Can someone explain me please, how to 100% reset my controller? Not just via Setup etc? I have already asked Artur but can´t read his answer because my phone is broken.. :? Found this video about firmware update that has the reset procedure at 5mn 15s in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-...

To Xenodius and Avitt, Do you have an email for Santa Monica EV, their site has been hacked, so I cant get one from there?
You can PM it to me if you prefer.

Hello, Existing controllers have no more memory for adding new features, that is why the support of torque sensor will not be added. Best regards, Thank you for the quick response, and I second the question below from wannesd (memory is cheap :) ) Will there be a new version with more memory and ad...

Re: Vector e-bike Frame 625$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE

As far as I can tell the Tektro brakes only have an ON/OFF Reed switch (no variable regen). What I cant find is if the Reed switch is closed by default and opens when you brake, or if it is open by default and closes if you brake. You can test that with a simple Ohmmeter connected to both wires. 1- ...

I must admit I do not see anything in the Adaptto manual about pedal assist settings? http://adaptto.com/MANUALS/Mini-Max-User-Manual-ENG.pdf Or: any way to make real torque sensors work on adaptto ? greets Anit Although Adaptto does not support a torque sensor directly, have a look at the thread be...

Re: Vector e-bike Frame 625$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE

Any idea how I do connect my regen cables from my tektro throttle with Adaptto controller? Can you be more specific about what tektro throttle you are speaking of. Is that an acceleration twist throttle that also has regen signals? or a separate lever to be used for variable regen? Or a separate ha...

Re: BEAMts Torque Sensor...Figured it out!

I PMed Xenodius, and got the following answer below from him. It turns out, I had mounted the sensor too high and it never was able to autocalibrate properly because slight pressure on the pedals fully depressed the chain roller on the sensor... according to Britt Jackson at SantaMonicaEV. I haven't...

Re: BEAMts Torque Sensor...Figured it out!

Thanks for the quick answers! Happy to try to help. First though, let me point out that I am using a KT S12S controller, not an Adaptto. Xenodius commented that he is using an Apadtto with a 78v battery, and was having trouble when using the throttle passthrough...You may want to check with him dire...

Re: BEAMts Torque Sensor...Figured it out!

One of the nice features of this torque sensor is the way that it does not require a Cycle Analyst to interpret the signal. Instead, it outputs a throttle level signal, which can be fed directly into any controller. The Prodecotech version of the BEAMts has a pass though connector, which allows you...

Re: Adaptto Controller PAS

Hello, 1) Our controllers don't support torque sensors currently. To the Adaptto team: Is there any hope / plans that Adaptto will support a torque sensor like CA? PAS mode is not only necessary for legal reasons, but it is also a great way to use the bike for a workout. Torque sensors provide a mu...

Maybe you can get the vector frame kit and build one over time? Depending on the state you live in getting an e-bike street legal could be easy-ish. Either as a moped or as full blown motorcycle. Worth checking up the laws in your state, maybe check with the DMV to see what can be done? May be one ...

I wanted to volunteer a suggestion regarding the Moto seat. The Vector bike has a superb design, and I find the current moto seat not at the aesthetic level of the rest of the bike.
