Oh Well, It did not hurt to ask...
May be you can design the frame so that the Pinion could be added as an option for people willing to cover the cost

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.
Great news Arthur. Below my hopes /suggestions, beyond the obvious. Now that Neematic /UBCO has abandoned the pedal/pedal assist version you have an opportunity for something similar to their original design. Key differentiating factor for a high power pedal assist mid drive: Pinion gearbox 1.9XR fo...

Re: Neematic - 20kW middrive bike
And the pedaling option the way it was implemented was way more than ghost pedaling. With the pinion gearbox and a torque based pedal assist, you could actually enjoy the bike powering it with your legs. That was a unique combination and very appealing for when you want to enjoy the feeling of power...

Re: Neematic - 20kW middrive bike
the peg mount assembly looks bolt on easily removable.. replace that with schlumpf style bb and run dbl freewheel on the concentric motor for the pedal input.. fixed;) First adding a sprocket on the motor axis may not be trivial as it would likely require a longer different axis to support it And e...

Re: Neematic - 20kW middrive bike
I don't buy the pedal driveline argument with the 15kW, as the pedal driveline does not take any of the motor power, it only takes the human power. And as for the legalities, they should not concern themselves with that and leave that to individuals based on their specific country requirements and p...

Re: Neematic - 20kW middrive bike
too bad... that was 90% of the appeal... bike or a mx. now its just a high powered surron with (likely) inferior suspension (rear at least), at about 2x the price too... 5k into a surron will easily close the power / range gap between the two, with room to spare. Seriously disappointing... I was ha...

Well, they are now part of a real company who makes real bikes, so I think it is safe to assume the bike will finally be released. They sure missed an opportunity, but the past is the past :) And they still have the only high power bike that is fully usable with pedals with the Pinion and a torque s...

cmon. this fakepedals cant fool anyone. if so, surrons has also this fake pedalkit if you "need" it. those big bikes had pedals for the only reason to be pretending iam an bicycle.... and why? because it was always illegal.... no need for pedals on a surron and everyone who rode with pegs...

I'm trying to make it work with 20700's as they have about 20-30% better capacity with only ~12% increase in physical dimensions. It will be very interesting to hear your experience with this, given Luna had so many problems trying to make the Apex battery with 21700 cells, that they actually gave ...

Can you describe in more details under what pedaling condition you get that.
For example, if you are going uphill putting constant pressure on the pedals, does it cut off and on?
Be as detailed as possible on all the different situation it happens.

Re: My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000
It all depends on how it was programed. The Pedal assist is a mixture of torque and cadence sensing. The torque sensing is the most natural way to provide power assist as it is proportional to your effort, but could lead to what you describe, in situations like pedaling on flat, when your effort may...

What I believe you can install is the Schlumpf Speed Drive,

or better its cheaper version the ATS Speed Drive

what? EBR charges service fee for reviews of ebikes? that is wrong - so by other words manufacturer pays for review, right? and are EBR reviews really independent ? I understand manufacturer lends ebike for review for free , but he has to pay for review? that is weird. I don't think that is weird. ...
