Re: kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

I just received my unit. Must be one of the last units from its patch. Nice to see that developing is ongoing. I need to look into updating firmware .

Re: kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

What an amazing thread! Fantastic stuff! I've never wanted to start building or repairing batteries, mainly because of the available spot welders being unreliable. This unit will be a real game changer, making battery work much safer. The question is, when will I be able to get a kWeld all the way ...

Re: Another Stealth bomber (clone) build

I just got the qs205 with a sabvoton 72100 controller, cycle analyst, and throttle. Total came out to be around 900 delivered. The batteries were ordered on 11/11 (120 liitokala 26650s for $360) We're using the motor on an electric boat for a high school competition. I'm thinking about mounting a g...

Re: kWeld Spot Welder Questions 2018.09.27

Does anyone use lead acid battery with the welder? I know it kinda defeats the benefits of small welder and lipos aren't that expensive but I just happen to have extra 120ah "heavy duty" battery and currently no use for any lipos. It probably says like 900or 1000 amps starting current.. I...

Re: Mobipus Controllers

there was also a TeamViewer installer, why do they want to take remote control of the PC running the software ? For direct sales that they want to do, they need to provide at least an unlimited distributor access (with brake & regen) and of course without internet requirement. TeamViewer is use...

Re: Mobipus Controllers

What I have understood there is 3 levels in the software. "user" "distributor" and "factory" all of them can be used with different passwords or alternatively with timekey that has certain amount of time like 1hour to infinity.. For factory level they probably don't sha...

Re: Mobipus Controller Official

Why I can't enable any of the regen brake functions? I can change currents for them but when I enable them in any mode 1-7 It changes back to 0 after writing to the controller..

It must be something stupidly simple that I just don't know. Other settings work fine as far as I know :?

Re: Noob EEB Enduro Build

Yes you are spot on. I was laying in bed right after I posted that and it hit me. I also noticed I don’t have a red light on the controller but nor do I have a green (but USB DONGLE was plugged in). I got swamped with work but managed to remove the tabs on the controller and am now trying to figure...

Re: Noob EEB Enduro Build

I am considering reworking the dropouts and would welcome any feedback. I am considering cutting the tabs off so the axle slots are horizontal. Since I have a single speed freewheel this would allow me move wheel back and forth to adjust chain tension. I think having the phase wires exit out the ba...

Re: Noob EEB Enduro Build

My obligatory cheap rear shock from Amazon made it. Seems the powder coat on the swing arm shock mount is a few mils too thicks so I have to clean that up to make the fasteners that came with the frame work. I have same shock and swing arm and it fits tightly when you give it just a little bit of v...

My "2 cents" about making eeb kickstand work. Without ordering 1 meter long bottom-bracket  WeChat Image_20180816225609 (Large).jpg Starting position.. Not even close  WeChat Image_20180816225541 (Large).jpg After drilling hole and mounting the stand closer to frame it would sti...

Re: Chinese Electric Enduro - Kickstand vs Spindle length

I noticed same problem and I don't even have cranks yet. Also at-least my kickstand has threaded hole and frame has welded nut. That is just awesome engineering.. Well I will fix it somehow. Probably make new hole to the frame or make mount for it under the swing-arm so it gives more clearance. I ha...

Re: How do you preserve charger leads

I have no issue with my charger wire since I newer move it but here is couple ideas that came to mind. 1 Wire quality. Good quality wire can take more beating. Maybe silicon and/or double insulated? 2 Modular cables. If charger has banana plugs or some other connector (preferably something that cant...

Re: Mobipus Controllers

Hello Shenta, I was wondering, is there a manual for this controller? Something that lists its specifications and features, wiring diagram, API, command reference, etc...? If so, how would one go about getting a copy? Also, does the controller have the ability to both have a brake switch motor cut-...
