Re: Simple top speed question guys.

Using the map my ride app I’ve reached 38 mph going downhill on this retro modern kinda board track racer. It’s long and heavy, good for speed. 27.5 inch Schwalbe supermoto x 2.4” Tires that are 2.75” on 50mm rim at 30psi. It’s has 6 6s multistar 16ah batteries, 3 in series, so I’m running 72 (75 st...

I’d trim your seat post. I know it won’t hit as is just looks funny. It’s non stealth with the logos and graphics and color scheme. I know this is a personal preference, just not for me. Otherwise great ride!

I know I might take some bashing but what the heck. I love high end but...$305 for cheapest 7 speed delivered. Buy three and the fourth is free so that’s $225 ea? Heavy as “ “ steel frame, disc, maybe suntour fork 4” tires maybe 80mm no holes I hope rims. The welds look slightly rough but better tha...

Re: Where to find Super73 style ebike frame?

AliExpress, like eBay, Amazon etc should always be considered.

Here you go...
Also there are several USA manufacturers still making the old school mini bike kits, raw steel, no motor.

NICE! I’m in the New Haven CT area and would love to join in. Can’t make it this Saturday but it sure sounds like a blast. Please wear a map tracking app and show us where you ride tonight. Action cam it if you can. I was into critical mass a while ago and the group was great, so were the after part...

Re: Custom frame for Cyclone Coaxial

This looks like a good store from AliExpress. I know to look for power, ground and signal for adjustable regeneration braking. Some of these controllers you can get the bluetooth dongle and a display. Just think they are underrated as volts times amps is 3-4 times what the rating really is like how ...

Re: Custom frame for Cyclone Coaxial

Chambers I’m reluctant to check on my 12f from necular. Seems like it’s always wait. All I want is auto learn and adjustable regen brakes. No one in the industry reading what people want to compete with necular? I’ll give them my business, yes virus I know, but this waiting makes is almost not worth...

Best settings by far are speed limit 100% across the board and torque limit increasing 1.5x every time from 5 to 100% from level 0 to 9. Luna and electricbike.com "karl" configs are a sick joke. I’m thinking of putting a bs02 I’ve had new laying around on a 27.5 Plus bike. Do you recommen...

Re: Custom frame for Cyclone Coaxial

I can see the dual set up working well with the chains on both sides. The pulley on left side looks like it uses the “five holes” as it’s called referring to freewheel mounting. So a five holes to 104bcd adaptor would work? Cyclone and sick bike parts sells this part. Anyone to try to convert or con...

It looks physically small for the stated size at 750-1000w. Overly proprietary In design with built in controller could leave you in their hands if there’s a issue down the road. I’d let the people who have purchased it be your test as to what’s to come for this little motor. It’s specifications may...

Re: How good is Cyclone 4kw coaxial suspension bike?

Anyone have the dimensions of the motor? I have a custom frame design in my head that I want to sense check. Dimensions are on the cyclone website. It’s 180 mm in length that’s 32 mm longer than the normal 3000 w version. Dia of both motors is 136 mm. Both have 95mm between the bolt holes for mount...

Re: E-Bike improvement vlog?

Nice looking! I’d would skip the front 250w motor/wheel. Even with it you will find it probably isn’t enough to make a big difference. Two times little power is still little power. Also the front one more powerful than the rear could cause traction and control issues. I would replace the rear one to...

It’s going to be hard to beat the sur-Ron for an electric dirt bike. But it could be to much for you or to big of a jump, for now, don’t know your situation. Off the shelf or a kit? Can it be more pedal bike and less motorcycle? If you do a build try to set a budget. One sample of mine is three grou...

Re: Anyone Tried These 80A Controllers?

I did not know these problems existed. Would not be good to have any. This is so cheap you may have to just try it. I’m seeing this controller, or similar on AliExpress and 3000 W motors with throttle for eBike kits for $250 shipped and several positive reviews. I’d put it on the maybe/consider list.

You can’t use pla for Ebike printed parts. I will soften in the sun, the melting point Is too low Use PETG if you can at a higher print temp like 245c vs 220 for the pla. My recommendation would be to get the cyclone kit from Luna cycle or sick bike parts some lipos from hobby king, two or three 6s ...

This is on AliExpress right now. The frame is $490, the motor and controller is $460, both incl. shipping. Seems like a clone to me. Rear sprocket is different. Motor is smaller. Frame looks simpler in the under seat area. Clone or not seems like it’s too small. Unless you like that little wheel rid...

Re: Widewheel 2019 - rear motor "shuts off"

I have one and have had it apart. Mine had a non working front motor from new. I was sent two dead ones and the third worked. Seems unlikely to be the battery as it’s shared by both motor controllers so wouldn’t the problem affect both motors? The two motors and controllers use the round plugs so sw...
