Re: 7 mile range on new fat-tire bike with Ultra. Am I doing something wrong?
We’re you riding off road? I’m guessing so. The fat tire will create a lot of rolling resistance and at low pressures even more. Pump up your tires to 30psi and ride on road only and see what happens to your speed and range.

Re: How good is Cyclone 4kw coaxial suspension bike?
Thanks for the update and info on amps and such. Are you running 72v? There has been some cyclone bashing, 3000w version mostly, but a low price point at first means a swap out when things break and wear out are cheaper. Twice the price for maybe better is a gamble. Thinking of this motor on a Honda...

You have to search the cyclone posts. This has been answered many times. If I knew I’d let you know but I know the information is there when I need it by searching. Pink wire and a paper clip is what I remember.

What thickness will you get your 219 sprocket? I’m thinking 4mm? 3/16” is nearing 5mm and tight. Metric chain metric thickness I’m thinking.

Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?
Would be nice to put the cyclone or similar motor inside the lower part of the battery case/box. The prices of the stealth bomber eBay knock off etc. frame have come down considerably. Still no taper headset and only small wheels are useable and it’s heavy.

We’re you using 7- 9 speed chain? Can’t tell by the pictures what size your cassette is. I’ve had good luck so far with 9 speed chaIns and cassettes. Cyclone 3000 that does a steady 2800w continuous. I have bent over the large size gear on a 9 speed cassette before though.

Re: Vector Storm e-bike Frame 299€ / Parts WORLDWIDE
I mentioned updates last spring. The eBay enduro frames are $250 shipped now on eBay if you look hard. Shipping included from a USA seller. My point is prices are dropping for that so so heavy frame 25kg. And less shipping time too. To stay competitive the updates must come. Wider frames and bottom ...

I had a warranty issue with mine out of the box. The front motor was making a humming sound about once a second then stoped, it never did rotate. The nice folks at fluidfree ride.com are sending me a new front wheeI motor, after sending them a video of the issue. They are the USA distributor. I took...

Re: Ultimate Guide - Riding Electric Scooters
Great video. Yes I picked up the two motor version, only $100 more. I do like the look of the non motor front wheel but I have to put function first. Most videos make it seem like it’s a necessity unless you live where it’s relatively flat or a slower speed is ok. When someone mentions they are a pi...

I’d go nuclear 12f if you can afford it and it’s 4-5 month wait period. Power velocity is a very close 2nd to me if you want a controller faster, cheaper, a few less features like adjustable regenerative braking. Etc.

Re: How good is Cyclone 4kw coaxial suspension bike?
As for the domino throttle I put a 100k trimpot on the positive 5v throttle imput to lower it a little so the stock cyclone controller would not cut out under full throttle. Could also use it to act as a governor to lower the max power level, for newbie riders.

I am Going to the mid drive for increase torque and top speed, and reduced unsprung weight with the motor being at the front of the swing arm instead of out at the end of it. An alternative to thru axels is a solid axel. You can get them from ebay, wheels manufacturing or AliExpress. I’ve even been able to swap up to 10mm dia in the front up from 9mm. I try to stick to metric 10mm x 1mm thread pitch. 3/8” is available and prob ok if you use matching nuts. I use the nuts ...

Can the regen level be varied while riding? Continuous adjustment, or a set of levels? This is a good question. Only seeing this on the Nuclear controller so far. I’m sure others have it. If you can see a controllers wiring diagram it shows a simple ebrake that’s kills the motor. This opens or clos...

Thanks for posting your build. Love the aluminum hollow box frame. One question is the controller supplied in the kit the 40 amp or 60 amp versions? What one did you get with your kit specifically?
Thanks

I’d like to purchase if devo doesn’t respond. Do you have a PayPal account? I’m in the United States. I’d like to try this one and see if it works then decide on ordering more. Is the center mount bolt spacing typical for a kart sprocket? Good to know this please.
