I found the pins in the hall sensor connector had been pulled backwards and were not making contact. Bike now runs normally. I am going to check the battery pack next for a dead cell and replace the hall sensor plug.

Thanks it's a stock stealth bomber so yes it uses the ca bms as factory fitted. At present the display is powered up but the throttle gives no motor output....
