Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

However the dimensions of the motor shaft are ridiculous, you can see in the picture the comparison with a pen. As you can see, I am an engine burn expert, the neighbor is the rotor of a bpm hub :D :D

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

it may be an assembly mistake. I had the same problem with a 2017 engine but it was my fault. I wanted to grease the blue gear but the engine did not come out and either tapped lightly with the hammer. Unfortunately the engine shaft is not elastic but fragile and when I reassembled everything after ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Personally I follow only one rule with the ebike (all also with the Turbo levo) never make fords in the rivers if you want the bike to have no problems. when my colleagues go to the rivers I abandon them. The turbo levo for example has two concentric shafts without any oil seal and from there the wa...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

it's not a short circuit it's just too much heat. I have repeatedly seen the temperature sensor reach 105 degrees. I think it's a miracle if my engine is still able to turn. a short circuit does not burn the windings, the motor stops first. This is the reason that led me to radical changes shown in ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

the turbo levo 2016/17/18 has no display, no usb port, no time, and it works :-) (in truth it is really too limited, to see the battery charge you have to stop and count the LEDs placed on the sx side : - ( ) The things I consider essential are for me the wattmeter, the battery voltage and the perce...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I would first like to say that mine is a personal opinion. This is so that no one is offended, my opinion counts very little. I like riding bikes more than setting engines and it doesn't matter if the display isn't colored. I also have a turbo levo and I can make direct comparisons. With tsdz2 I can...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Buba compliments again for the hard work. I imagine that the cadence mode is more suitable for city bikes than mountain bikes. The original torque mode scares me a little because I hated the original engine. I hope the power mode is improved, that is the same as version 19. However, the non-expert u...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

The compliments are always too few for the work you are doing which is wonderful. I quickly read the new wiki of the future release 20.0 and I didn't understand the three ways: - cadence -torque - emtb That is, for a comparison, in the current version 19.0 which system is adopted? I am puzzled by th...

I would like to buy a Teflon sheet to put in the torque sensor, what thickness does it take for you? 0.5 mm is too little?

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I opened the engine, the first problem is that it doesn't have a flat surface so I had to put some copper plate plates to make it fit between one screw and another. Then I used the dremel to make two beautiful buttonholes on the crankcase. I folded a 0.6 mm copper sheet to make fins and inserted the...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Actually when I asked for the emtb mode I was interested above all because many users on the Italian forum say that it has an infinite extension ... which on the 48v I miss a lot. I don't know how it is done. I think the tsdz2 is already very emtb. It is possible to dose the pedaling force going fro...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

just flashed version 19.8 Everything went well without any errors at the first flash Tried only 300 meters near home for the arrival of the night. - There is no resistance to backward anymore, I didn't care much about it, but that's fine - There is no more the annoying leap forward if I kept my foot...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

about the cooling, for about a month drawing with this system, but unfortunately it is not very effective. the detected temperature is only about 5-6 degrees lower and in long climbs the engine rises rapidly towards 90 degrees. it cools down faster at the end of the climb. I think I will change by d...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I believe it is a characteristic of the simple torsimeter of the tsdz2. needs to feel the strength of the wheel to give power. when the wheel advances with little resistance the torsion force decreases and obviously the watts supplied by the motor decrease. On more complex bikes the software can rem...

Another info. This is the temperature of the motor and the cover when the termometer signs 83° celsius. I think the best it is to fill the air space whith aluminium but it's very difficult to do.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I hope to explain myself. I don't want a motorcycle or exceptional performance. however, I have the strong doubt that if the engine arrives quickly above 90 degrees in an uphill country road with 10 degrees outside temperature as soon as the temperature rises it will be unusable. I am therefore look...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I also own a 2018 turbo levo, legal. I was very happy because the tsdz2 with the modified firmware has exactly the same performance. but if it overheats and needs to be used at half power it is no longer valid. the tsdz2 with original software is not even comparable to a modern mtb if you need to us...
