Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Hmm... I thought that the motor size or the power rating is irrelevant since the power output is dependent from the max current of the controller times the battery voltage... I have read somewhere that people are driving their "250W" motors up to 1kW and above with no problems at all. So ...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
So, do you think my assumptions are right? Do you think with this system, I could increase my top speed? Right now it is topping at around 40km/h. But at this point I am only using 400w or so. If at this point I press a switch to connect another battery module to increase the voltage to 72V for ins...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Just a quick question which might have been answered before but I don't have the time to go through this huge thread at this moment. I'm planning to buy this s012s https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-kit/721-s12sn-1000w-40a-torque-simulation-sine-wave-controller-ebike-kit.html , program it for my liking bu...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Ok. So, when the blue wire and the red wire are connected, shouldn't there be a +5V reading from some of those display wires? I'm starting to think my controller is not working properly... ??? You wrote that you have a Bafang Controller?! I don't know, if this is switched on in the same way as the ...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Is it possible to turn on the S06S(or other KT/BMSBattery controllers) without the ON -button of LCD or LED? You just have to short the blue wire of the Display connector to the red wire to switch on the system. regards stancecoke Ok. So, when the blue wire and the red wire are connected, shouldn't...

So the real question is, can I for example input a mimicing signal to the wire that goes to pcb's RX terminal(the wire is yellow colored at my main cable harness)? Is it that simple to awake ...

Re: Help needed to identify my controller
Thank you. This might be a bit weird question, but is it common that the pcb looks the same as for example S06S, dimensions of the board are the same, but the internals are totally different? I mean, it seems that I'm on the verge of finding what these clues on the pcb could mean; XT-SIN6SJ10 = XT -...

Help needed to identify my controller
Hello. I received a badly beaten e bike to move the parts to my mtb. This was PAS only when sold. Does anyone have a clue what manufacturer is this controller from? The text on the case cover is mostly chinese but some numbers tell that this is 36V(operating voltage?) and a lower value 29V(cutoff?)....

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Ok. So the controller that I have is not KT nor BMSBattery even though it's very similar looking?
How do I know can this one be programmed?
For the other assembly questions I will start my own thread.

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Hello. This is my first post here, so I'm going to explain my first electric bike project with some detailed info. I received this badly beaten bike without the original LCD(Bafang C965 -clone, 800U) and e-brakes. Apparently those were stolen from the previous owner. All that was left for me to begi...

Re: New controller only by soldering...?
... also, If you haven't checked already, make sure that the white wire is actually used by your system by checking if the white wire is soldered to the controller pcb. I have a controller-motor cable with the white wire connected only to the motor, but cut at the controllers end.
