Re: Sn0wchyld's 12kw custom frame mid drive

Very nice. I like the idea of the stealths, and others, but hate the heavy hub motor. Looks like you have nailed it.

Are you running 2 chainlines? One for the motor and one for the pedals?

Re: QS MOTOR 500W-16kW(Rated) BLDC In Wheel Hub Motor Index

I am interested in the V3 10x 2.15 inch scooter motor. The price is good, but $175 for shipping is too much. Why is there not a cheaper slower option?

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I apologize in advance for not reading the whole thread. Maybe my question is already answered somewhere else... Is anybody using the domino twist grip (5 kOhm Pot) in combination with the mini-E? I used the the magura twist grip (also 5 kOhm) for a while and had big problems with jerking at full t...

That's not bad considering you are using lead and have 4 wheels, and a real suspension

About 10 volts per battery in Series. Remember to charge every time you use it. Lead prefers to sit fully charged.

Re: foundingpower programmable bms

Does anyone have the latest software for this? Mine has been working fine, for a long time, but started sounding warning beeper and wont allow charging. My laptop that I used to use to connect to it died, so need to download it onto a new laptop.

TIA

Re: 20 inch full suspension street build (now with twin moto

Matt, As usual, your build are awesome and inspiring. As for Delta Wye switching. I have run a Delta Wye switch, using just a manual switch on my mountain bike that has your V1 Drive on it. I love it. 2 reasons, 1 is that it makes it easier on the controllers and motors if you are doing slower speed...

Re: Flux mid-drive

How about one of the Revolt RV160 narrow, with a low KV and a single chain to the rear wheel. You won't get max power out of it, but still get a lot of power in a light setup.

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Interesting side-note! A file cuts into the shaft like it would on mild unhardened steel. I'm definitely going to replace this one as soon as possible now. Anyone else want one once I get the lathe in order let me know; I'm going to price out CrMo in 1" diameters and order some to start working wit...

I would also really like the guy who ordered the motor for his 190mm dropout fatbike (sorry I don't remember your name right now) to chime in on how he planned to make that work the way he ordered it, even though his axle came too short. That's me. I ordered a Mxus, that is speced for a fat bike, b...
