Beware that it is a 200mm axle, not 220mm. It will not fit the width of fat Tire bikes. I ordered one, and found out the hard way. Now I need to find a use for it.

Re: Mongoose dolomite fatbike? 7spd, disk brakes, INEXPENSIV

I bought the leaf motor 1500 watt, and it is only 200 mm so it wont work. Any specific suggestions, preferably with a recommended vendor?

Re: Broke a 6-32 tap off in an aluminum heat sink, ideas?

if the hole goes all the way through, use a punch and large hammer to push it through, it will destroy threads, but you can then use a helicoil. If not all the way through drill from other side to meet it. Always use lubricating oil and go 1/2 turn in, half turn out and clear shavings out of the hol...

Re: Mongoose dolomite fatbike? 7spd, disk brakes, INEXPENSIV

The steering is kinda funny, if you bank into a curve the wheel turns harder into the curve. Anybody else notice this? Is it due to the low tire pressure, or it looks like not enough rake in the fork? That's a known characteristic of fatbike tires. Some tires are more susceptible than others, and r...

Re: Mongoose dolomite fatbike? 7spd, disk brakes, INEXPENSIV

So I have had it for about a week now. As per everyone else, there was no grease in the axles and were way over-tightened. Brakes though adjusted kinda suck, but overall for $250 hard to beat it. Took it to work, and everyone was jumping on it for a test ride, and loving it. I think I have at least ...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I finally got my Max-E. I have it hooked up. Seams to be working for the most part. However, the throttle is kinda funny. it is very controlable from a dead stop. If I go to full throttle no problem. But if I back off to half throttle, the motor cuts out completly, then kicks in and out to maintain ...

Re: The most advanced Adaptto Mini-E Controller + BMS

Well after countless unanswered emails and PM's I finally got a reply 2 weeks ago with an invoice. I paid it the following business day $1005 for a Max-E, BMS, and a charging coil. Fortunately from reading on here I sent it to the right one, as the invoice is a bit confusing. Sent an email back stat...
