Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
No, I don´t know anything about programming. So I have no idea where to start to solve that problem. I tried to use casainho:s fw yesterday, it seems to write, but there did not seem to be any differens. It still ran about the same, LCD3 did not work and so on. Then I tried to just use the erase ori...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
sascha121985 I don´t think my setup is much use for you, I have an 18fet controller and my setup does´nt really work very good. I have violent cogging if I´m not very gentle at the trottle until I am up at maby 20km/h. It is nice weather here today, and I was able to test outside. That is how I noti...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Hi all, new here and looking for some direction. So I'm building a ~3-4kW peak BHT style mid drive direct drive ebike and am hoping to use a KT controller with this firmware, however I am not sure what kind of phase amps I could squeeze out of it. My goals would require about 120A phase Amps. I see...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
geofft: absolutly, I will give that a try. Thank you.
I have only been adjusting the angles so far, I thougt I should be able to get it running smooth before fine tuning other settings.

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Yes, I have a HC-06 bluetooth module, that was what I could find locally. I bought a HC-05, but there vas no bluetooth module on it.. Maby I can take the bluetooth module from the HC-06 and put on the HC-05 if that is better? I tried 215 motor angle, but it cogged badly and blew the fuse. So I think...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Interesting, it seems like we have a very simular setup apple2. But some settings are very different, I have battery current 500 (as I understood in the instructions should mean 50A) and battery voltage cal 70. Did you have to swap any phase or hall wires with the new firmware? For me the bluosec ap...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Thanks. I will try to play around with that some more, but so far not much luck. In the 170:s the wheel is stuck. I beleve I ended up in the 230:s, then I had very low correction angle. But the bike behaves rather strange. If I pull the throttle it can take off ok, but then start to cogg badly. Some...

This should mean that the halls are in the right order I think? https://i.imgur.com/gSTZJfQl.png Here I have some correction angle, I think I should get that down to 0? https://i.imgur.com/ZIkeTXMl.png https://i.imgur.com/Kp2ohJOl.png I have tried to adjust the Motor specific angle and the correctio...

Another commuter build, my first.
I am really a car guy, and I have built cars before. But not elevtric ones. I have thought about bulding an electric bicicle for some time, but I don´t really think I will have much use for one. But now I have a girlfrend without a drivers licence, and I thougt maby she could use it sometimes, so I ...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Rasing the correction angle seems to help, I changed from 127 to 168 then to 172. It has improved a lot. And setting all speed limits to 99, now i can get stable acceleration. But a bit sluggish. But the only ting working on the lcd3 is battery voltage, no speed, no symbols for braking, no battery i...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
I programmed my controller today, but there are some problems. Before I changed fw I mesured consumption, it used about 1,5A at full speed with the wheel in the air. It was working fine. After programming with the wheel in the air I can not get a steady rotation. I get power for maby half a second, ...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Is this a problem only on the kt60? Not kt36/48 18fet? I remember something about another user earlier in the thread who were modifing an 18fet controller with other mosfets, wires etc. to handle more power. But I think he did not get it running. I think it blew the fuse as soon as he gave throttle ...

It seems to be very limited information available for those controllers?

It is really compact built, not much unused space there.
It looks like the display might be a bit sensitive of water?

Controller for QS205 50H V3 4t
I am trying to narrow down my best options for a controller for a "stelth bomber" build with a QS205 in a 17" motorcycle wheel. I have looked at several options, but it is a jungle out there.. The nucular 24fet seems real nice. But it seems to be a long wait to get one, and I guess it...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
So it should still be speed throttle, not torque? The throttle controls the current (= torque), that's the "normal" behaviour of every throttle in any motorcycle or car. Xnyle has build in the option assist lvl affects throttle , with this you can reduce the max amps of full throttle for ...

Maby I should try to flash my controller this weekend..
It would be interesting to hear the developers comments on this.

Yes, a reset option is good. But I think it is even better to not have those menues at all as long as you are in limited mode.

I am far from an expert, and have not got much real experience. But it seems to me that you have to get a fast winding even if you don´t need the speed, to get power. https://www.ebikes.ca/tools/simulator.html?bopen=true&motor=MX4503&batt=B7223_AC&cont=cust_120_250_0.03_V&hp=0&co...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]
Yes, it can be a very big task to satisfy everyones wish for combination. I think the best way is to just have one option, but to be able to adjust that option. For example, to exit limited mode you have to press a combination of buttons on the display. That is the only way to do it. But you can cho...

Re: Nucular electronics - complete kit for ev! [beta]
Just like Izeman says, the point is that there is no switch to get out of limited mode. To get out of it you have to pull the brake 5 times in a row while standing still or something like that. Like casainho and stancecoke did: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=87870 I don´t...
