Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
My tsdz2 has behaved strangely. Sometimes gives a very good assist and sometimes very badly.
I started adjusting the torque sensor. I measured its value first and it was 157. The minimum value I can adjust it to is 64 (should get to values of 25-30). Is the sensor simply broken.

I have a 48V TSDZ2 and a 48V battery. I pedalled yesterday with 860C_850C_SW102_v1.0.0-alpha.3. Battery SOC% and battery volts did not match. I’m wondering why? Or should the battery be fully charged when installing the new firmware? The light that came with the TSDZ2 worked well. Otherwise, it is p...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)
New alpha version that now works on SW102: https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmware/Color_LCD/releases/tag/860C_850C_SW102_v1.0.0-alpha.2 (note that the TSDZ2 firmware version remains the same v1.0.0-alpha.1 as it was not changed) I found the issue for SW102 and I am happy because it was my fau...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)
Hi dameri, Thanks for the response, appreciate it. Yes I've checked that it's firmware 0.51.0, but I did find that file from someone's google drive as I was unable to find it in the official firmware archive. Maybe I have a bad copy? I am using the 48V version of TSDZ2, is the firmware specific to ...

Bad luck your son's tire puncture.
I had the 860C in use for the first time today. It is much better than the 850C. It is more adjustable, it’s style is modern and is better in the sun.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I'm pretty fit and I like to exercise and I only need this motor to help me going uphills while bikepacking so the range is pretty important to me. Then you should go with our OpenSource firmware that has high efficiency when compared to other firmware. I would go with a 250Wh battery and with our ...

r0mko, any plans to add the overrun fix to your quick and dirty torque mode release? Perhaps it makes sense to integrate the torque mode back into the new firmware, but it seems to have some issues, so for now I'd better stick to the v0.56 FW with torque mode and figure out what is the actual overr...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)
I installed v.860C_850C_SW102_v0.6.9 to 850C display and hex 0.55.0 on tsdz2 a couple of days ago. When I turned on the display, it said TSDZ2 firmware error. I tried installing again a few times and the same message came every time. I had previously used 850C_v0.6.4 and motor v0.53.0. I reinstalled...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Just my luck, after 800km+ my year old tsdz2 packed up. I left it parked at work, when i went back after a few hours i find the display on, with all leds lit up. i tried switching off, with no success, so i removed battery. I charged battery (i thought it was around 20% full, but could not check) a...

Re: Temperature Sensor Install
FYI Been working on a good temp sensor install... The cap near the top has 5-6mm wall thickness. I drill a small pilot hole (7/64 - 2.8mm) about 4mm deep, and screw the sensor in with a 6mm long 3mm self tapping screw (needs a pilot hole although it is self tapping)... The sensor base itself is a g...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with some issues I've been having with my tsdz2 build. I bought the 750w 48v motor, planning to get a 48v battery in NZ. This proved impossible for me so I had to settle for a 36v battery. I flashed the 36v files from the eco-bike tutorial which was easy enough. O...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18
Does anyone know if it's possible to add a brake sensor to a controller which has only the 6-pin display cable? Perhaps soldering a wire on the controller and connecting that to the sensor? Here is temperature sensor installing on 6-pin controller by jbalat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb8Omk6e...

850C_v0.6.4 is the best ever. I skipped the previous version due to the hurry. Big thanks to casainho. I have the odo working, I also use the lights through the speed sensor splitter and I have no problem.

Re: TSDZ2 Stronger BB Spindle
Hello! I'm having problems snapping BB spindles at the groove where the circlips locate. I am a heavy and strong cyclist, I've destroyed plenty of BB and pedal spindles and cranks in my time, but I've done three of these in the last year (approx one every 1,000 miles) and I'm a bit fed up of it. So...
