Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

48V high cadence mode - (menu 0:3: value 2 ) is not working for me, the engine stops above 500 ERPS as it would do with normal 48V mode. I did memory cleanup by writing zeros (even it is not needed in alfa2 where the EPROM issues is already solved) so that should not be the case. Sad to hear that! ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I have just finished my first ride with 0.20.0 alfa2 and have following points : 48V high cadence mode - (menu 0:3: value 2 ) is not working for me, the engine stops above 500 ERPS as it would do with normal 48V mode. I did memory cleanup by writing zeros (even it is not needed in alfa2 where the EP...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I got working the quick selection of variables to show on the graph: on the main screen, we need to click + long click on ON/OFF button and the graph title blinks, then we can select another variable by using UP and DOWN buttons. Then we leave this mode by long click on ON/OFF button. Other than th...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

But I think that you would rather I remove the entire "Cadence Double Resolution" and save that particular thing for the future. Let's see first how all of this works. If we are talking about shutoff, why not start using different cadence values, one for startup and other for shutoff? In my humble ...

Hello Popo15, Have you enabled the throttle in the Configuration Menu under the Motor Controller Setup? https://github.com/OpenSource-EBike-firmware/TSDZ2_wiki/wiki/Features-and-configurations-for-version-0.19.X#7_Motor_Controller_Setup good morning, if enabled and it does not work, thank you very ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Returning to the sensor, it has a braking pulse of 0.5 seconds when the shift cable moves. There's no need for a shift sensor on a system with a torquesensor, as the motor reduces power automatically if you are turning the pedals with lower torque with your legs for shifting, as you do on any norma...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

#new button logic - to exit the submenu once the value is set the long press of on/off button is required however I think just a short press would be enough. Now by exiting submenu with the long press I have ended occasionally two levels higher than initially wanted as well it takes more time to con...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5

Has anyone tried to use the Throttle ?
I tried multiple qmarco's version and different Max/Min range values but the behavior is always the same - it works just like on/off switch without smooth speed increase.

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Could someone clarify whether the battery voltage readings ( e.g. for SOC or Power limit calculation) are done at LCD3 or at the TSDZ2 controller ? I am thinking to do conversion of one of my 48V lcd3 to support also 52V just by adding and extra 200 ohm resistor. This will decrease overall voltage a...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Hello Elfnino, I thank you very much for the information. Well, I've seen the motherboard of the kt-vcd3 and it would be very difficult to weld in there, I do not know, inside the board, what are the GND and BREAK connections (sure it's called that? BREAK). I thought that maybe I could connect the ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

KT-LCD3 using flashing pins for the USB charging ? I know there are already KT-LCD3 displays with USB port available on the market, but would it be possible utilize the FW flashing pins (+5V and GND) as the power supply for USB devices ? I guess the biggest danger is that it will blow some display c...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Hi, Regarding Blinking 1, I see the use of it , but also feel the problem in traffic light, or when you just stop and talk with friends, My saddle is quite high, so my foot is restng on the pedal when I stop. I am wondering if it is possible to - have a threshhold for torque before it reacts So it ...
