Need to source another full susp.

Some of you may know i have a Fsr w 9c hub. And a Rincon hardtail with a 9c. I am started looking for another fs to put the electrics from the Rincon on. I have looked on pinkbike. Unfortunately still really low budget here. I do not go fast. This rincon is totally stock at 36 v. This may be for my ...

Re: Newbie, Looking for answers, 6Kw too much? :) 1st timer w/ a Hub.

I ran mine on lipo@55 amps for awhile. Nothing compared to lots on here. I have had these 9c kits for about 10 yrs so backed it off for longevity. The bike is a caddy to me. Top shelf in the early 90s. Just wonder if i can control that heavy hub a little better. I may try it ,I can always put it bac...

Dan mentioned phones. They should put an a sensor so if the phone detects "any" movement the screen goes blank. You need directions, pull over. And what about when you want to use it on a train or a bus ? Or passenger seat of a vehicle. While we are on the topic, why not have movie theaters automat...

Damn this thread went to shit. 😕 My batt is there. But i use a 24" up front. I bet you could add a limiter internally. Or ubolts around the forks. ☺ kidding. Thanks for the link on the Duro btw. I want to a better , longer rear shock on my Fsr. I have room at the top to drill another hole an inch hi...

Is the trance 26 wheels? Not much room for batteries in the triangle.

Re: donor bike selection

I notice none of those have susp. As long you don't plan on going over 20 mph and the riding is smooth might be ok. You can add rivnuts/ bottle water holders. If you are ok with drilling on a brand new frame

Re: Recommend bike to bike communication method

I think there is a walkie-talkie app for phones that uses WiFi. I haven’t tried it but might be something to look into. What about using bluetooth? I tried to find Aaport for android Looks like it may be iPhone only. Ok. Looks like a lot of voxxer type apps but the reviews are terrible. I think a f...

I wonder if you could cut blades on your disc and fan force air at the hub.

I also have tried alot of masks. My problem is I like to sleep on my side. Then it pushes on the mask and starts leaking
I suppose I need to try again sleeping on my back. 🤔

Re: HeatSink that works well for smaller hub motors....

Looks/sounds like that would work good on my 9c dd. Have you thought about hub sinks. Or ferrofluid?

I could employ all three on mine I suppose. I am using about 35 watts now. I pushed it to 55a for awhile and dropped it down to 35 when I quit using lipo.

Re: Best Value fast ebike for my commute?

I noticed the last time i looked ar em3ev. I have two of their batteries. They have controllers built into some of the batteries. Most kits come laced to a wheel. Also i think em3ev will lace to a custom wheel.

Re: Newb...What do you recommend?

One thing. You have a production built ebike. Those were some of the first production ebikes. Tough frame. But that is a hardtail
You would have to be handy to rewire if you need to change the controller or battery.

Damn good price. That's for sure. I would trust your gut when you see this guy. If he knows about the bike and kit. And if it seems like he actually built the bike maybe you are ok. I would be wary.. He is giving it away..

Since he mentions a noise when using the switch. Is it possible the switch shorted?

Actually looks like that large white wire was laying across the leg of the fet.
