Re: Help finding a solution to Bafang gear stripping

Remove the screws (carefully) an get flat paint knives under. You may not need em! Just wiggle and it should come off! otherDoc But WHICH SIDE comes of...

Re: Spun front axle and flew over the bars @ 25mph

Hmmm... You must not own many hub motors. I have never seen a hub motor come with instructions, let alone torque values. I have! the Ezee kit manual gives a torque spec of 100Nm or 800in-lb (page 5) for their kit. http://www.ebikes.ca/store/ezee_manual_V20.pdf One thing I noticed when I i...

Bafang Kit review

I was looking for a small geared motor when I ran across this kit on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/250W-36v-Electric-Bike-Conversion-Kit-SAVE-GAS_W0QQitemZ320318877354QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCycling_Parts_Accessories?hash=item320318877354&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7...

Re: Bafang 8Fun freewheel

My Bafang front motor wheel spins down from 20MPH (unloaded/39V) to a stop in 70 seconds. That's with a mounted 700x35 tire. It was about 19.4MPH and 50 seconds when brand new a week or two ago. Since then I've run it around 20 miles on my trainer to test it out. It's too cold and snowy so I haven't...
